Release MQ2AFNuke

Are you getting output from /nuke settings? If not, you may have an alias from some other plugin or macro.

All commands are preceded by /nuke.
/nuke resume should start the plugin and you should get a response in the MQ2 window. If you don't, refer to my response above. Get rid of the alias and the plugin will work fine.

I'll put it in my to-do list to clean out any /nuke aliases when the plugin loads.
 
When I input /nuke settings all I see is {MQ2}toggle DoNuke Settings and that is it. that is pretty much all I see for any issued command.

Then you need to remove the /nuke alias. I don't remember the command off the top of my head, but I think it's already earlier in this thread. I will look for it and share it again.


Basically, log out all toons. Delete aliases for /nuke and /donuke that were probably created by the Afnuke or Raznuke macros from your MacroQuest.ini. This should fix your problem. There's probably a command to delete the aliases.

Alias Command:
alias [list|delete aliasname] [name command]
Useful for creating shorter versions of a command.
/alias list
Lists all aliases

/alias /hp /echo My health is ${Me.PctHPs}
Typing /hp in the EQ chat box will display: My health is % in the EQ chat window

/alias delete aliasname
Deletes aliasname from Macroquest.ini
This should fix your problem:
/alias delete nuke
/nuke resume

If you still have issues after that, try:
/plugin mq2afnuke unload
/plugin mq2afnuke
/nuke resume

The plugin is crashing EQ Post 3/3/2020 update on test server. It happens when a mob is pulled and it goes to start nuking. I have some crash dumps if you are interested in me sending them along via PM or such.
 
Yeah, PM me, and we'll see if I can find the cause. Most of the time when this happens it's a core MQ2 problem (bad offset, struct changes), but I will see if I can find the cause.
 
I just tried this out on my wiz and mage and it seems to increase my chars dps significantly. I do have a question though. When combine MQ2AFNuke with Kissassist how do they work together? Does KA handle the buffs and rely on MQ2AFNuke for nuke/DPS? If that is the case then I can pretty much leave KA DPS section blank?

Exactly. Just leave kiss dps section blank and let MQ2afnuke handle the dps.

Just fill all the other sections in kiss (buffs and what ever you like) and both will work well together.

You could even fill some stuff in kiss dps section if you like to do something special like using clickies or whatever and it will still work.

Im using mq2afnuke and mq2heals together with kiss. Works like a charm!

I’ve done the same thing @krause described for well over the last year for both of @jimbob’s plugins (MQ2AFNuke and MQ2Heals). It works well.

@jimbob Having issues with MQ2AFNuke overriding movement commands (nav, afollow, etc.) to med. It's really, really annoying... basically, it'll spam sit down if you try to move manually with arrow keys, and it won't move at all if you issue a mq2nav command or /afollow command.

Can something be adjusted to allow the plugin to break med routine for movement? Because right now I have to issue a /nuke off or /nuke pause command to move, then turn it back in, if the wiz is under 100% mana. This has got my wiz killed a few times when I didn't notice he got left behind in a dungeon crawl.

it’s spamming the med routine and force sitting over and over. I saw the messages today. It made the transition from Kael mission phase 1 to phase 2 REALLY painful.

He posted at 9pm.... you posted 4 hours later... I'd say since @jimbob is the sole developer for this plugin (and at least one other) that he probably needs more time.
 
A workaround that I just thought of is to disable medding in mq2afnuke and enable it in kissassist. Run kissassist with this plugin (which I do anyway).
 
I was asking some potential updates metioned month ago, like mage's spire, malo, tash etc. Just to ask , not mean to urge him. I am very grateful for his plugin.
 
Tash, malo (Spells, not AAs), and spire (mage, wiz, enc AA) should all be live already. I haven't included the AA versions of tash and malo yet. I am currently (when I have free time) working on mod rod support for mana recovery. I haven't finished yet though.

For now, continue to assume DoMed is broken. I haven't had time to fix it. I thought I was close, but it bugged out after a while and it gets confused. I think I might just have to add a delay in case the player stands up manually to move, etc. It's supposed to detect whether or not you're moving, but it may not give you sufficient time to start moving if you're not already.
 
Spire,at least mage's, isn't casted in burn mode. Spell malo i havn't tried yet. But I didn't see any new version of mq2afnuke in RG update notes?
 
Maybe I have the wrong AA spell name? "Spire of the Elements"?

Edit: Yep! Confirmed... AA is actually "Spire of Elements"

It's updated in my code, and will come with my next commit.

Edit2: FYI, I had to dust off my poor 110 Magician to get that tested and the right AA name. :) Anyone want to PL him to 115 for me?

I am at GMT+8 time zone. Maybe difficult to be online at the same time with you ( and most time I am online for raids). You can tell me your mage's name, so that I can try to give you some TAs when I do TOV missions. I am on EM server.
Today I tested the plugin,
Spell malo works. Wiz combat harvest works. Enc spire works
Mag doesn't harvest yet. Swarm is not casted during ITC.

Updates are coming... I promise. I've been testing magician changes locally, and have added pet target switching with the Mage. It "should" work with swarm pets as well, but I haven't thoroughly tested that part.
I'm still dissecting the Harvest code I wrote for the wizard to apply it to other classes with the inclusion of mod rods. It's taking a while because I am refactoring code at the same time, so I can better manage the components.
I think the only automated swarm pet is the R* Servant line... Are there others I should add to the standard or burn code that aren't already there?

Can consider adding Host of Element and Servant of Ro in burn mode( I will give accurate name and aa code when I am online next time). They themselves do humble damages but can enhance base damage of ofmany spells.
 
found some time online.
Host of the elements, AA ID 207 and Servant of Ro, AA ID 174.
Tested the new plugin in GGH on dummy. Pet aggro and target switching works perfectly. I can clean many pet hotkeys now:)
 
Plugin is now broken for me as of last update. Wizard attempts to acquire target, targets mob, then does not cast and stays in OOC mode. Also causes huge lag in EQBC, and afnuke doesnt respond to commands such as /nuke on for 15-20secs, and follow me / come to me stopped working for 15-20 seconds at a time just on the wiz. 6 box group all rest are fine. tried IHC on wiz (use it on enc, mag, bard) and IHC was fine. CWTN plugins also working fine. Just AFNUKE having issues...

and yes group roles are set, and I've been using the hell out of afnuke for last 6 months so not 'unfamiliar' with it, but certainly no expert

I'll see if I can replicate your issue today. Do you have /nuke dummy on by chance? Have you also tried /bccmd reconnect?

I found the cause. Working on it now. :)

Edit: Fixed the Wizard casting bug and committed changes. Try the attached .DLL until RG VV is updated.
Edit2: Looks like I broke the enchanter pet... :p

Second time I broke it was because of timer changes... It's working on my test in GGH. Going to test elsewhere. :)
