MQ2AFNuke

Release MQ2AFNuke

this plugin still working as intended after this recent patch? My wizards seem to only be casting 1 or 2 spells / AA only even after /nuke memorize to load the spell set.

I have noticed the same behavior. Also will try to cast Harvest and the other mana claim spell over and over again.

I think redbot got the wrong copy. I had the source on dropbox, but updated my perforce repository (it's kinda like git). Anyway, once that's sorted, give it another try.

Tried the new compile and the problematic behavior described above still persists. It will typically do the AA nukes, claw over and over again, and get stuck on Fuse. Occasionally it will try cloudburst storm strike. This is using the default lineup provided by /nuke memorize.

Sorry for the delayed reply. I believe it is/was an MQ2 issue. The method for detecting spell refresh was broken (and may still be). I'll try to test the latest updates today.

Well, I took some time, and found a workaround... :)

Sorry for the delay. Been busy with holidays and family.

Hi there

I'm a very fresh user and am still trying to find my feet, but I'm having some problems with MQ2AFNuke

I'm running it on a 87 Druid/87 Enchanter/95 Mage - granted, I haven't changed any settings at all, but simply made a group, set an assist (tank) turned the plugin on.

When I pull something to the camp on my tank, the three characters running the plugin will cast between 1-3 spells (all the enchanter does is tash, the druid casts a couple of debuffs and 1 nuke, and the mage casts 1 servant, 1 nuke) and then they will sit there inactive until the mob dies. Given that I haven't played with the settings at all, I'm assuming it's not an issue such as mob hp %, as usually its around 70-80% when they stop casting.

Is this a known issue or will I have to do some investigating?

Thanks for your help

Are they re-casting the same nuke over and over, or just casting once and doing nothing else? I they're casting the same spell over and over, it's the bug I attempted to fix this morning (though it may be unstable... :) ). It's an issue with detecting whether or not a spell is ready to cast... I have a little more debugging to do before I will have a final solution though. Sorry for the inconvenience.

No apology needed, I'm grateful for the plugin!

They don't appear to be casting the same spell over and over, but rather, only between 1-3 (again the enchanter only casts 1 debuff, druid will do a debuff and a nuke, and the mage seems to cast about 3 nukes) and then they go inactive and do nothing

edit: I should clarify, the main reason I'm using MQ2AFNuke is because I'm having issues editing the .ini's in kissassist (security/access issues on Windows I can't seem to resolve at the moment), so I was hoping using this plugin would be a workaround (as I don't appear to need to edit any .ini as this plugin appears to be ready to go after install) - again I'm very ignorant with this stuff so not sure whether that may be linked to this issue.

for some time now my wizard is only using claw and the AA nukes, nothing else. How do i fix this?

The solution is in the works. There was an issue with a struct in the base MQ2 code. I got the information to eqmule, and he's going to update the MQ2 source. Then Redbot will have to release a new compile, and you should be working again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Pet does not attack when using this with KA. Once i turn this off my issue is fixed. Not sure why but it seems to interfere with KS sending the Mage Pet to attack. Of course i could be doing something wrong.

Update: Its working now. After i decided to just stop using nuke for a few and then i ended up having some serious wonky issues. Restarted computer (fixes most things) and had same issue. My power went out at house last night started everything up and Nuke with KA was working completely fine. So whatever happened fixed it.

Hi.
I loaded the plugin and set it up for manual assist to test on combat dummy.
I got these messages in MQ2 window
MQ2AFNuke::SetGameState Configured for Wizard Nuking
plugin 'mq2afnuke' loaded
MQ2AFNUKE: dummy (on)
MQ2AFNUKE::ManualAssist (on)

Then issued the command /nuke start after targeting the dummy.

Nothing happens. No error messages, no nuking..

Noob question now Do I have to load the other required plugins or are they in an inc command in the code?

Interesting. I'll look into it. I'm not sure if I made /nuke start (Manual Assist) work in dummy mode...

As for the plugins, just do /plugin PluginName

I have mq2cast in the directory. Do I have to manually load them or are they in an include statement.? Will try it without manual assist on when I get home.

do a /plugin mq2cast to load the plugin if it isnt already loaded.

to check your loaded plugins, do a /plugin list .. the output will show up in the MQ window.

Okay, here is what is going on now.
It is loading all the required plugins.
Manual Assist does not work. However, if I make a grp using my merc and assign myself as MA, then it works great and nukes away.
However it does not prevent me from doing manual assist. I can click on a mob myself hit a hotkey setup with the command /nuke resume and it starts nuking away. This suits me just fine as I would not run auto assist in a raid anyway.

/nuke doburn on does not work no burn AA's are activated.

/nuke memorize, tells me I am not high enough to memorize a spell. This message comes in an EQ window and is responding to an attempt to load Dicho, though I am 105. The spell only requires 101.

I like the way it works and other than the issues mentioned, for me they way it is working is all I really need. I can turn burns on myself with a hot key.

Thanks!

I believe dicho is two spells. One for 101 and one for like 210 or some such. Both are in the spell book. The error could be because it's trying to use the non usable one?

/nuke doburn does work very well. I use it frequently (in EoK zones, and previously in TBM zones). It activates burns (Arcane Destruction/Frenzied Devastation, 2nd Spire, Fury of Ro/Kerafyrm, etc...) based on the # of mobs aggroed on the XTarget window. It can't be customized yet, but it will be eventually. You need 3 mobs aggro for it to trigger for now.

/nuke memorize is currently only for level 105. Sorry, I got lazy and didn't make it go farther down. It's on my ToDo list though.

I honestly don't use manual assist. Someone asked for it for raids (I think)... Just set whatever toon you're playing as the MA, and target a mob. Your wizard will blow it up. You can use pause and resume like you are to simulate the same intent (I do too, sorta). Also, domed is mostly broken, and so is domount, because I haven't had much time lately to fix them.

Oh, be careful. If you turn harvest on, it will break invis. :) I need to fix that. (Also on my ToDo list).

is there a

/nuke holdcamp on|off
or
/nuke returntocamp on|off

option with a camp distance?

No, MQ2AFNuke does not manage camps or follow. When I use it, I have a hotkey: /bcg //target Me, /bcg //follow (named Follow), and another hotkey: /bcg //afollow off (named Stop) to make my toons follow or stop as necessary.

Edit: Also, I have /bcg //nuke pause and /bcg //nuke resume hotkeys (along with /bcg //heals pause and /bcg //heals resume hotkeys) that I use to manage the plugins from my tank. It makes everything so easy. Hit pause, Invis, follow, get to camp, resume, break invis, and pull mobs... rinse and repeat.

Sounds like you may need an update. I'll check to see if I can duplicate the crash.

I was unable to replicate your issue. I ran MQ2Heals and MQ2AFNuke for a while tonight without issue... :( Did you try the updater?

Could you share your break invis key? Also how could I automate breaking invis? Maybe single mob in camp that has less than 95% hp? How could I set that up?

do /bcga //makemevisible to make all toons drop invis...

Did some research for a proper downshit and this seems to be working.

downflag14=1
downshit14=/if (${Me.XTarget}>=1 && ${Me.Invis}) /makemevisible

Jesus...

- Added new command: /removebuff
it will remove a buff or a song by name or partial name.
Usage: /removebuff Summon Drogmor
- Added new command: /makemevisible
it will make you visible.
Usage: /makemevisible

I never knew of the makemevisible cmd. That is bloody awesome!

Hi, I seem to be having an issue with MQ2afnuke, I've managed to get it to run once, and it worked really well, nuked as advertised, but then after 3 mobs it just stopped nuking and nothing I do seems to get it going again.

My settings are :

quick update, it started to work again, but still clueless why it stopped

That's odd. I use it all the time. I have med and mount off though... They're kinda buggy still. I tend to keep assist at 99 too, but 95 is fine too. You have to have a MA set, and it can't be a MQ2AFNuke toon. If you started it after you engaged, or it stops nuking, try changing targets. Also, it doesn't break invis to nuke. It will break invus to harvest. I will probably fix that soon.

Is there a way to check to see what nukes it intends to use? Would be helpful for folks just starting out with the plugin.
