MQ2AFNuke

Release MQ2AFNuke

does this or your healing plugin suport test server ? i tired if a few days ago and i just crashed MQ2.

I haven't compiled it for test in a while, but if there's a demand I can. I'll probably have some time tomorrow.

- - - Updated - - -

Added a compile for the Test server (MQ2Heals too).

Doesn't seem to be working with the newest compile they released on 3/25? Wasn't a patch but they did some changes with MQ2.

You're welcome. If you have any issues, let me know, and I will try to resolve them. :)

Updated for the 3/25 MQ2 source code.

Awesome macro. I honestly made a wizard (first one ever in 15 years of playing) just to see how much more dps it does over a merc wiz (Max merc AA's) and holy sh**!!
I do have a question....or better yet, request. What spell line ups are you using? I literally power leveled this guy up and just bought all the spells (/mac scribe) as I hit levels 95, 100, 105. I know shit about wizards, and basically loaded the spells with the most damage. Is this ideal? or is there a better line up (aka all fire, all cold, mix?) Any help/ideas/hints are appreciated and will be redcented!

There's a command to mem a good spell set. :) I think I made it /nuke memorize

If that doesn't work check the first post in the thread.

Yeah, what toots said. :)

It crashes my EQ client every time I load it and try to start now.

It worked with level 95 spells. I paused afnuke, bought the 95-100 spells and tried to /nuke memorize and crash. I reloaded, memorized a bunch of commonly used lvl 100 spells and every time I try on or resume I crash.

When the toon enters the world the first thing the EQ2 window says is "MQ2AFNuke::SetGameState Configured for Wizard Nuking!"

Update: Reloaded 90-95 nukes and still crashes. It looks like he crashes when he starts to cast the nuke, I started it when no mobs were in camp and he did not crash until a mob was in camp.

Final edit: So I uninstalled MQ2, deleted everything (except for kissassist ini's) and reinstalled and it works now with lvl 100 spells. Suggestion: a reset to default function. I also noticed my wizard is not using his Banestrike between casts. It would also be cool if your plugin could parse dps like kissassist.

Well, if I remember correctly, I may have only programmed /nuke memorize for level 105. I think It's only for wizards too... :) I am glad you got it working. If you want to reset it, you just need to delete the plugin entries from the .ini file.

I tried deleting the plugin entries from the .ini and it was still crashing. It was as if using /nuke memorize for a lvl 100 wizard corrupted something.

So I logged out the 100 wiz because I wanted to group with my brother, logged back in afterwards and same corruption.

The only thing on the player ini is
Rich (BB code):
[MQ2AFNuke]
MountItem=Jungle
NukesOn=1

Is there an easy way I can reinstall this plugin when it does this? Or do I need to uninstall and reinstall MQ2 again?

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the question, but there isn't anything installed with a plugin, is there? Aside from a corrupt ini possibility, you should just be able to unload it?

/plugin MQ2AFNuke unload

Right? Then just load the plugin back in.

Legitimately not sure if that is what you were asking for, but hope it helps.

Something besides the ini is messing up. Once it starts crashing it only crashes with mq2afnuke. Is there a way to delete the plugin and files required for the plugin, and put new ones back in the folder without having to resort to uninstalling and reinstalling the whole macroquest folder.

Nvm tried the unload and reload combined with deleting his ini. Not sure which worked but it is working again.

Plugins are compiled, so not stateful. You should just be able to unload, delete the associated inis it uses/generates, and reload the plugin - even while the game is running, that is.

If you think YOUR copy of MQ2AFNuke is corrupted, you can find it in the MQ2 release folder and delete it from there (either without MQ2 not running at the time or make sure you /plugin MQ2AFMuke unload on all toons).
Then you can go to the 1st post on this page or re-run the MQ2 updater to reinstall that specific plugin again.
Make sure you "CLEAN" out the MQ2AFNuke section of the ini.....

Any Chance this would be working with all levels soon , I would love to use this to lvl a grp on TLP , with wizards and or mages

If you would like this you might want to gather the needed info to help him apply this, like give him spell lists of spells in spell lines (with levels, cast & refresh times), and preferred casting orders, and any other info that may seem pertinent. Its not a guarantee he will add it, but it might go a long way in helping it along.

can you use this with mq2heal

you can have them both "pluged in" but they won't really work together.
MQ2AFNuke is set for Wizads, Mages, Enchanters and Beastlords (DDspells), MQ2Heals is set for Clerics, Shamans, and Druids.

You can however use BOTH of these plugins with Kissassist (which will allow your Cleric, Druid, or Shaman to do some DPS, and all characters to buff).

how would i set it up for lvl 1+ I installed it and activated "/nuke on" but wizard/mage aren't nuking

It's not set up for low level usage (MQ2Nuke/MQ2Heals). Not sure what the lowest level range is (I want to say 90 or 95). So until jimbob has time or desire to work on lower level functionality, thats kinda where its stuck.

I'll work on it. I played a wizard from level 1 to 105, but it's been a while since I had a low level wizard I didn't PL. :)

You left out Druids for MQ2AFNuke (which has been setup quite nicely I might add) ;) The DPS improvement is significant over using KA alone.

Now, this *can* be used in conjunction with MQ2Heal for Druids (really only applicable class that would benefit from both ATM) but... my personal experience has shown it's not the best to do. My Druid is not my primary healer so I mostly have her DPS via MQ2AFnuke and heals are handled w/ Kiss (NO DPS enabled in KA at all). If Druid is your primary healer you might want to try it the other way around.

Just figured I'd add my 2 cp because I think some people may neglect their Druid DPS.

I neglect my druid dps... She is my primary healer at the moment. :) I will eventually merge these, or add some plugin synchronization, so that Druid heals can take priority over DPS if you're using both plugins.

I might work on it soon. I can't sleep. :p

Hi,

maybe I am stupid but MQ2AFNuke is not working for me on Progression server.
Tried a Wizzard level 60 and a Mage level 60.
No error message but they just don't start nuking

Thx in advance for any tips

im not sure if it is updated for 60ish toons ' think its only for 85 plus that low of level i would be using kiss for more consistancy being as you only use 3 spells and 1 mana spell for dps

I am getting an error when i type in /plugin mq2afnuke. Entry point not found, the procedure entry point (blablabla) could not be located in the dynamic link library.
The mq2afnuke.dll file is in the mq2/release folder. Any ideas?

Deleted file, re-downloaded, updated, deleted mq2, reinstalled everthing. Every other plugin will load just fine except for AFNuke. Same error no matter what I do.

Deleted the DLL? Now I'm confused.. I'm I doing something wrong by downloading AFnuke DLL and adding it to my mq2 folder?
