Release MQ2AAspend

I know this is probably trivial for most, but I got caught in the loop of repeating 4 and 5 and still no spend only to find out i put the information that i copied in my KissAssist_Toonname.ini instead of my Server_Toonname.ini Great guided though if you read it thorough :)

Or, you just do:

/load MQ2AAspend
/aaspend bank 105
/aspensd brute on
/aaspend save

Doneskies. It'll spend all AA in class, then the new focus AA's, then archetype, then general, then special.

That list is missing some stuff right? Combat agility, stability, natural durability for instance.

It's an example.

Yes, but some people would like to choose what they want to spend first so they can hone their dps, pet, discs over something trivial can do so by picking what they want to max first. This is about how to spend AA wisely for those that use kronos and want to get the most bang for their buck. Maxing dps, pets, etc. first then worry about things that are not so important under the same tabs.

And for those that are wondering about /brute on that is exactly what it is. /Brute on buys the AA under a certain tab first. No logic, just goes down the list buying shit that you don't need first like "pet enhancement" for classes that don't even have pets. Yea you waste time and AA buying shit like that instead of logically and efficiently building your character with /auto on allowing you to intelligently spend AAs into what you deem to be important instead of wasting 30 AA on a fricking pet you don't even have. Spend 15 minutes and you'll be glad.

That's why I used the term "or" when I proposed my way to set it up. For people who play with minimal interaction, the brute logic works just fine and then I don't have to sit around making lists of AA's to spend.

/mac AAlist makes the AA list and literally takes less than 3 mins to create, as stated above in the AAspend guide.

The other option /brute on is posted here as it is in my explanation in the beginning of the post.

2) Activate Plugin in MQ2
All of the basic information that you'll need to activate the plugin can be found here. AAspend plugin This creates an ini file, BUT DOES NOT POPULATE YOUR CURRENT NON-SPENT AA INTO THE INI.

And just for clarification. "Your way" is another option under the plugin. Not technically "Your way". It's the OTHER option on how to spend AA.

1. /auto on = lean character building
2. /brute on = meh, whatever. I'll just waste hours of AA on shit not important to my class or group efficiency.

I'm guessing you didn't even read the guide in its entirety. Please read the post in its entirety before commenting.

I will emphasis this, so others take note. Thanks for the feedback.

Wrong syntax. Proper syntax is:

/aaspend brute on

And I'm not trying to knock your guide, dude. I'm simply saying that for some of us we don't give a crap if we buy the "useful" AA's two days before we get the rest of them. I like using brute because it works with my play style. I simply pointed out that there's another way to use the plugin than going through the effort of setting an AA buy list.

Well that AAlist.mac creates a list of AA's that is NOT auto-granted. I'm not particularly concerned about what gets bought first, so long as I don't max out on banked aa's and it doesn't get spent. With my new heroic toons sitting at 250aa's, I want to get as much out of the AA bonus for being under 6000aa's before I autogrant and I don't want to spend on AA's that will be autogranted. Think that was the whole point of the AAlist.mac and not so much an ordered way to spend every AA. Just a way to not buy autogranted aa's.

The way to not buy autogranted AA's is by using:

/aaspend bonus on

That will buy the aa's that aren't autogranted.

Does the /aaspend bonus on option still work correctly with the latest autogrant cap being set to 100 and autogrant AA's up to RoF? I just turned it on and noticed this message in my log:

Line 61816: [2017/08/14 16:21:03] MQ2AASpend :: Attempting to purchase level 15 of Mystical Attuning for 6 points.

This is a level 93 AA from Veil of Alaris. Wouldn't that be granted via autogrant if I turned it on now (am 100 currently)? Am I missing something about how this is supposed to work?

eqmule keeps talking bouyt spending ass, where it should be /aaspend and not /asspend

Do a /asspend status
See what your settings are, it should only buy bonus aa's

Yes, I had confirmed that I used "/aaspend bonus on" and "Brute First Bonus AA first: on" shows up when i do a "/aaspend status. I also saved my settings, but it still selects AAs that should be auto-granted, as the one I listed above. I also tried setting "Auto Spend: on", creating my own list of AA's using the AAlist.mac. In that case, it picks AAs that are all over the list, even ones that are 40-50 rows down in my ini file. I thought "Auto Spend" mode forced it to read the list in the .ini and would always go in the order listed? In my case, it just appears to jump all over the place picking random AAs, even though I meet the requirements on the ones that appear earlier. So it seems in either mode, I can't have the plugin do only non-auto granted AAs or even pick the order myself. Any idea what's going on? I've posted an excerpt of my current ini file as an example, where I'm using "/aaspend auto on".

I don't know what's going on, unless anyone else also posts and confirm I'm going to have to assume it's something specific to your setup.

Could it be that I didn't have the TBM or EOK expansions purchased at the time? It still seemed to be purchasing AA's from TDS and and Veil of Alaris, however, but that's the only thing I can think of.

Can we get an /aaspend bonusftp that will put xp back to regular xp after the 250 are spent?

Would be nice to allow this to announce in EQBC when dealing with additional toons.

Exp automatically goes to regular once you reach max aa’s for your level, so I presume it would for your subscription status, as well.

Hi I can confirm AAspend is not working for me I get the text saying its attempting to buy stuff but it doesen't no AA's are coming off my save AA total.

I have tried it on AAspend auto on I have also tried AAspend Bonus and nothing it just aint spending the AA's

AAspend bank is set to 0 so it not banking the AA's via AAspend.

subscription status = ALL Access

so if I understand this one correctly, the setup I have below it should bank 2 AAs then spend the remaining as I gain enough to purchase the next AA in Class, Archetype, focus, general, then special.

[MQ2AASpend_Settings]
AutoSpend=0
BruteForce=1
BruteForceBonusFirst=0
BankPoints=2
SpendOrder=32514

no, it won't "Spend until it reaches that bank # . you would end up buying al lteh AAs that cost 1 and 2 AA each first.

i bank 200 so my toons build AA to 200 then buy the next AA in my spend order, build back up to 200 buy another AA rinse and repeat

Has anyone had an issue w/ this plugin? It crashed me and my crew a few times in the last month, to the point where I needed to unload it.

nope, I use this very frequently, basically daily non stop on several different toons over several computers.

how did you pinpoint it was this plugin?

The dump file generated was a pretty good indication =)

I guess I can try it again and see what happens.

Nope - dmps sent to EQMule

I was hoping to get some help with my settings. I am trying to get it to auto-purchase the Glyph AAs after I use them on a named. It will auto-purchase them if I am below 220 no problem, but if I am at 220 (Maxxed) it will not purchase the Glyph AAs and I have to do it manually to get it started again. It would be nice if it could just keep on purchasing the Glyphs regardless of my banked AAs. Below is my ini but I have also tried doing it thought adding the Glyph to my ini and using autospend as well:

Code:
[MQ2AASpend_Settings]
AutoSpend=0
BruteForce=1
BruteForceBonusFirst=0
BankPoints=0
SpendOrder=4
[MQ2AASpend_AAList]
0=Glyph of Destruction (100+)|M
1=Glyph of Dragon Scales (100+)|M

I do glyph stuff in my buff section got this from another warrior ini, but this is what i use in mine
Code:
Buffs10=command:/alt buy 5103|Cond19
Buffs11=command:/alt activate 897|Cond16
Buffs12=command:/alt buy 897|Cond17

DPS5=command:/alt activate 5103|99|Cond18

Cond16=${Me.AAPoints}>218 && ${Me.AltAbilityReady[Glyph of Fireworks II]}
Cond17=!${Me.AltAbilityReady[Glyph of Fireworks II]} && ${AltAbility[Glyph of Fireworks II].CanTrain}
Cond18=${Target.Named} && ${Target.Level}> 110 && ${Me.AltAbilityReady[Glyph of Dragon Scales (100+)]}
Cond19=!${Me.AltAbilityReady[Glyph of Dragon Scales (100+)]} && ${AltAbility[Glyph of Dragon Scales (100+)].CanTrain} && ${Me.AAPoints}>39
[/code

OK, so the AAspend will let the fireworks off when its at the cap? and purchase another clip? is that correct ?

is it included in the VV download after today's patch ? or do i need to DL separately ?

AA spend will buy more fireworks - but you would want a holy/down or something in kiss to *USE* the fireworks

not sure if I just do a stupid thing but I cant get this to work for me.

I have the plugin loaded and got an entry in the aa spend list in the .ini

But for some reason it wont spend any aa written in the list.

Code:
[MQ2AASpend_Settings]
AutoSpend=1
BruteForce=0
BruteForceBonusFirst=0
BankPoints=0
SpendOrder=35214
[MQ2AASpend_AAList]
0=Combat Agility|M

Do I miss something?

Did you fix this? You may want to check there isn't a second entry for [MQ2AASpend_Settings] hiding in the ini, which tells it to do different things. Also, you will want to bank at least some, depending on level, I do 20 AA before level 100, 100 at level 100 and 150 at level 110 - just because the costs go up.

An Idea for a future feature for the AAspend Plugin.

Would it possivle to get a new function on the Brute method called Nocraft. It would simply skip the 10 (or so) crafting Mastery's and other crafting related AA's in the General section. It could even be driven by a ini setting for what skill to skip when in brute mode. For my style of play , and maybe others aa grining , that would be a quick way to skip dumping and setting up INI's for each class (yes i am lazy, but this is why we use VV).

/AAspend Brute nocraft (or something like that).

Thanks for considering it.
