Having some problems with Nav. I am using KA, and playing on an emu. It has been working perfectly. But today when I use /afollow it says, "couldn't parse '/afollow spawn 277'. And then some KA error stuff. Then it says, "[Nav] No navigation path currently active". The weird thing is that the Come To Me button works fine. I can set show nav mesh and it looks fine. I have tried it in a few zones, it's the same issue. And I tried restarting everything.

just for clarity afollow isn't mq2nav, i'm gonna move this to kissassist help

you should just use "chase" instead of afollow

Ah thx I thought it used MQ2Nav. I stayed with afollow because I liked that it matches my exact steps, good for tricky areas. But I have started using Lua chase and that seems good too. It doesn't match my steps but uses the nav mesh so it knows where to go anyway.

/afollow is from mq2advpath btw - it saying "couldn't parse" means you dont have that plugin loaded

/plugin advpath
Ahhh thanks! I got used to it when fighting on narrow ledges. It stops my monk running behind targets and falling off stuff. But I am probably going to keep using this "Lua chase" now because they follow me well and can still move in combat. So I just turn it on and forget about it. I will fix my afollow and only use that for tight spaces.

Do you know if the "Lua chase" is any different to the basic chase feature in KA?

Do what works for you :) I have never found KA's chase to work how I like it. They are all valid options, and I suspect all have their merits depending on group make up and zone geometry. I tend to /mqp when moving between mobs whenusing KA, due to accidental train making.

Main diff in LuaChase vs KA chase is you can pause KA and still have them casing you. makes moving about invis much better, as inevitably, at least one toon will decide they just HAVE to cast some buff right now as you'r running past a big cluster of aggro mobs.... When I was using KA, I just added a chase on/chase off button to the Groupinfo window so both things were right there.
