Question - Monk Dual Wield or 2HB?

Dual wielding can be cool in a group if you have the right procs if not 2hbIm curious on peoples thoughts in SoR era for their Monks. Are we still better off with 2HB or is Dual Wield a better choice?

other than disparity with something like "i have non bst/mnk raid weapon but only a group bst/mnk weapon" you should stick to bst/mnk for beasts and monks.
I still use 2h exclusively on my monks
Parses for 130 SoR tradeskill weapons seem to say still go for 2H (at least if we're talking just raw weapon and not including AA and other abilities).
with how close it is, and a 2h is just one ore/brick/piece I would go with trying to get a fatty raid 2h and call it a day
The breakdown for Monk's is simple. 2hander anywhere you may get aggro, thanks to staff block aa you have more natural mitigation with the staff. The argument for going dual wield is solid as well, thanks to aa's like Weapon Mastery of the Katori and Ambidexterity the Dual-Wield damage keeps up pretty well with staff dps.
Either way you go, monk is ideal with the fastest weapon possible. So that's 18 delay 1handers or a 23delay staff, this is to ensure you're getting the most crits, flurries and weapon swings per minute. With staff parses in SoR sitting ~90k dps higher from my personal testing on monk, I'd say ditch the dual wielding and go with the staff.
Other than those, the choice is purely cosmetic honestly.

Agree with Sic above… monk/bst ratios. This offhand is generic and likely not as good damage as some group gear that’s not chase (although not the same hps)
