*** Highlights ***

- Added a View Characters button at server select that will display the names of characters you have on that server.


*** Items ***

- Fixed various typos in potion and poison descriptions.
- Characters on accounts with lifetime membership can once again open Bags of Platinum.
- Created new Time Locked Progression starter packs for 2025. These will be available when Fangbreaker opens.
- Ornamentations now fit into equipment and weapons that fit in the Illusion Key Ring.


*** Tradeskills ***

- Reduced or eliminated game client lag caused by accessing a Tradeskill Depot that contains a multitude of items.


*** Quests & Events ***

- Made the following changes to the Secret Sponsor (Mission):
-- The exit statue will now be available during the entire mission.
-- Civilians and criminals now offer experience rewards when killed.
-- Spells will scale more appropriately.
-- Players will no longer receive faction hits.
- Brood Architect Hazuri (Raid) - Fixed the spelling of unripened.
- Increased drop rates of augments that are available in 26th Anniversary mission chests.
- Fixed an issue preventing players from entering the zone for The Great Jade Idol Caper.
- Corrected several spelling errors in the Diary of the Jade - The Search quest.

- Wizard - Increased damage for Ethereal spells above level 102, starting with Ethereal Skyblaze/Rimeblast/Flash.
- Blocked buffs on characters and pets now behave themselves when switching persona.
- Resisting the effects of root and snare spells now removes the correct spell effect in the case where there are multiple movement effects active.


*** AA ***

- Fixed an issue with the Druid Focus AA, Improved Lunar Healing that prevented it from properly reducing the reuse of spells in the Lunarlight line.
- Fixed an issue with the Cleric Focus AA, Improved Divine Intervention that prevented it from properly reducing the reuse of spells in the Divine Intervention line. Additionally, the AA description has been updated to indicate that the amount of healing granted by the second heal attempt increases with higher ranks rather than the chance for the second heal to occur.


*** Overseer ***

- Added a speculative fix for the tutorial becoming stuck and not offering the correct max amount of active quests.


*** Progression Servers ***

- Servers with a level cap (such as Vaniki and Fangbreaker) will once again use the normal spell resist system.
- Removed a level difference penalty that was still applying to players on servers with a level cap in the normal spell resist system.


*** Miscellaneous ***

- Made several speculative fixes for DirectX texture stage crashes.
- You will no longer be given a pickzone timer if the zone you attempted to enter was full.
- Adjusted melee combat range to better match the target ring radius of the NPC. This change will be most noticeable for larger NPC such as Outer Brood dragons.
- Items can no longer be listed in the bazaar if they contain an augment.
- You can now invite players who are in other zones to your guild using the /guildinvite Name command.


*** UI ***

- Updated the Spell Display window to show the Spell Line that a spell belongs to.
- Updated player pet healing from reverse damage shields to go the Heals (Others) filter.
- Bandolier swapping no longer confuses the UI when loading a persona equipment set.
- Updated the default socials to be more relevant.
- Added container size as a Stat option when finding items or searching the bazaar.
- Added a View Characters button at server select that will display the names of characters you have on that server.
- Added the ability to hide familiars using /hidemodels or the option window.

- Extended most anniversary events to June 15th. Note that this does include the 26th and 25th anniversary. The upcoming progression server is excluded from anniversary events in 2025. They will be available on that server in 2026.
- Fixed an issue preventing players from participating in The Great Jade Idol Caper.
- Fixed a crash that could occur for Bards using /melody or /queuemelody commands.

well not sure what they did but none of my machines will load everquest now. it loads up and gives the reset device prompt then unloads

INB4 teh OH NOES WHY IS XP SO LOW on TEST Server
TLDR they are disabling the xp bonus temporarily to help test the Fangbreaker Resource Hunter feature.

In around an hour, the Resource Hunter feature will be enabled on the Test server. Our current plan is to leave it running until just before Fangbreaker launches, though this may change. General information about this feature can be found in the Fangbreaker Ruleset FAQ post.

During this testing period, zones from Classic to Luclin will be the ones that are eligible for bonuses. In order to allow for better feedback on the bonuses, experience levels for Test will be lowered to more closely match what will be in effect on Fangbreaker when it launches. This includes the removal of Test's double experience bonus.

The AA experience rate will also be lowered, but for multiple reasons, is higher than what can be expected on Fangbreaker. As a result, zones that get assigned an AA experience bonus will feel as though the bonus isn't as large as it actually will be on Fangbreaker.

Well, hmm. Nothing I liked better than getting rid of items with old augs in them in baz on FV. And when I buy an item it was kinda cool getting an extra on it. I didn't know you could sell items with augs in them on other servers.

In all seriousness two big backside changes listed, the TS depot lag and the see char at server select.. both of those i bet are big changes.. TS depot queries for data each zone, assuming they are changing it to like DH, and only asked for the data when you interact. The login is reverse, EQ didnt ever tell you AT server list what char you have, that query wasnt sent until you picked a server..

I don;t work there, so maybe things I don;t know, etc. but seems a weird thing to even have had a Depot where the whole point was to "contains a multitude of items" and then even sell it separately, and not plan until expansions later for multitudes of stuff. Its one and only purpose is MULTITUDES.

The server select thing sounds cool...I always wondered why they didn;t have a more direct way to login...felt like logging into a game twice server then character select. Instead of server choice and character direct. This is still just a listing of characters now, not bypass char select right?

In it's current form, I all but hate the Tradeskill Depot - it constantly "rebalances" and because I bought 3K spaces and am taking up almost all of it with items, it is a tremendous hassle to use...

I'm really hoping this makes a difference!

Ban when???!!1 Are my toons safe? Will they hack into my fridge to activate it's camera to check if i am using MQ2?
