This will skill up your lock picking skill....quite quickly I might add.
Skill 1 to 452 in a couple of minutes at level 109 in Plane of Tranquility.

PoT has been nerfed it seems and this requires an adjustment to work..

/click left
should be changed to:
/click left door

Skilled up a Bard and a Rog using the book in POT, within the last week or so, I didn't use this mac however I just did individual clicking to level up

I skilled up a bard to 450 a few minutes ago in Plane of Tranquility. Not sure how high the skill will go there.

ChatWithThisName updated [Macro] Lockpick.mac with a new update entry:

Nothing changes honestly.

Just some minor code cleanup.
I looked at the macro in an attempt to confirm user reports.

/doortarget
/click left door

Does not work on the book in plane of tranquility with lockpicks on the cursor. Which is why the command is just /click left

This macro requires you hover your mouse over the door you want to pick. I've adjusted the instructions to reflect as much. I can also confirm that PoTranquility book does still work using this method.

I went to PoTranquility, stood at the table (otherside of Elder Almad (sp?) and ran the macro. It went from 1-infinity lightning fast, but then super wigged out trying to autoinventory the lockpicks it had picked up. Started trying to put them in my mount keyring, etc. It could be because I was at 451/450 skill because of the lockpick mod. Removing them and I am only at 443/450, so it didn't finish the job. I had to use my /end hotkey to stop it from the spam.

I am thinking that it didn't know how to handle using mechanized lockpicks, but because "lockpicks" is in the name, the macro selected to use them.

I zoned back to PoK, then back to Tranquility and re-ran. It finished the job but then kept going. And then wigged out again trying to drop them into my mounts key ring.

Maybe adding a check of "if you're at max, then auto inventory, if you're still at max then end the macro, if not at max after autoinventory, then left click the book-door again"
I dunno.

Either way, it worked super fast. I used to use the small autofire program to mash my "use" key at that book, this worked just as fast. ;)

FYI: For those that try to use this in the future....the having your bags part isn't needed. Just put the lockpicks on your cursor, stand in front of the door you want to lockpick at an angle so your mouse always touches the door when it's open OR closed, then start the macro. I went to go have lunch and came back to being 200+ lockpicking.

Yet another awesome plugin, quick and effortless :D
I'm glad this utility worked out for you, just want to clarify this one is a macro. It'll be useful in the future to be able to distinguish the difference from Macro/Plugin/Lua
There can only be one macro running at any given time. Macros are not compiled, and the file itself is the source code for it. Their files end with .mac, and to load them you type /mac macroname
There can be many Plugins running at once. Plugins are compiled code and the source is not normally shipped but typically available. Their files end with .dll, and to load them you type /plugin pluginname load
There can be many Luas running at once. Luas are not compiled code, and the file itself is the source code for it. Their files end with .Lua, and to load them you type /lua run luaname

Cheers for the explanation CWTN - appreciate it 😊
