Lost but not Forgotten 19th anniversary task. Whose bonus item is a Wayfarer's Tent Trophy.

Lost but not Forgotten map.jpg

The task itself is long. The write up on Allakhazam is very well done with a few exceptions.

The trash mobs are mezzable, and for the most part do not see invis. Some of the gargoyles do, some of the named do, and there are wandering traps of different kinds.

The main boss fights adds are not mezzable. But they are rootable.

And the task (after the 4-18-18 patch) has changed so that the main boss's HPs will lock until the adds are killed. Which means you will want some form of push root. I recommend a shaman, especially with the named reportedly becoming immune to root, this ought to make locking the adds away a lot easier... though note you need some one/some thing to tank the main boss while you handle the adds.

The "Forceful Prescence" is leashed, the rest of the task named can be pulled where ever.

As the write up says, I highly recommend clearing out the end room where Harris ends up BEFORE you do the Sila part, so you do not have to deal with trash mobs and 4 Harris fight adds.

I did this with multiple group configurations, using toons that were 106-110 in EoK T1-T2 group gear. The easiest time I had was using 2 SK (one to pull and one to tank/offtank) MAG,ENC,CLR,SHM.. which is a little light on damage, but better handled the named fights before the changes.

Ment to start a thread earlier, but took a heck of a lot of digging to find a EQMap viewer that actually worked, bah. (http://www.tski.co.jp/baldio/map/)

I am sure other folks have better tips, I tend to lean heavy on healing and tanking. The Trophy is definitely one worth getting for your tanks at the least.

Out of all the mobs in this instance the Umbral Spirit is the roughest, it will mez the highest aggro person every 40 seconds, so it will never mez more then one but will randomly charm another toon aswell. All trash are mezzable and some mini named can also be mezzed, Heartblooded skeleton can be mezzed, shadowy named can be mezzed also. At the start clear the west romm out then rush the room to the north of it, if you try to pull to the entrance the mobs will warp all over. Shambling archer is perma rooted, so can clear the room without worry. Blighted Spiritualist will come with an add, if you try to spilt you will get more, he also will Dot the MT with a few dots and will ae slow. On the scion named pull you can VP one of them and tank the other and mez the adds if grp comp allows it. Clear all the way to harris's room, be careful these mobs are sometimes mez immune and they hit harder then the red named. Sila room charge with a single toon saying sila and run back to group to spawn the Forceful mob. Be mindful the Forceful mob is leashed to the room area and will not go past the top of the stairs, everytime he leashes it clears most debuffs. While fighting it have everyone stack up, because every 12% he will reset and warp to a random person on hate list and reset all current aggro, so slow is better fast will kill your group. The adds are timed, not % based, had adds at 50% all the way down to 20% is when they spawned. AE pushback root is best for this instance, do that once the adds are locked by the tank to save him. Kill adds then named, while the named is up adds hit close to 15k and proc a 15k dd and can proc really fast. On the lord if he is a enchanter mob, start to cry, if not hes a tank and spank fight nothing really bad. But if a enchanter be prepared, he will mezz the pull toon and random charm and mezz after. In all instances if a toon dies a 30k hitter spawns only during the lord fight. Their aggro is tied to the lord. For harris hes easy, he will just stun the tank a bit and light healing on self, but his adds are semi mezz immune(not all times i could mez them) tehy have a ae dot that hits for 30kish a tick but are rootable though highly resistant to everything, so slow sometimes wont hit them. All mini named in this zone have the same dot, 900ish resist check 30k a tick(without dot shielding and dot rune). Traps will be the same ae as mini named or a 3 second stun its random, mostly the dot trap has been most common. Forceful was hard, but with a warrior I have been able to clear it everytime even with crap gear/augs/and aa's. SK with every AA and conflagrant and augged out was really rough since they have only a mitigation disc rather then a defensive disc. Can run defensive+ae sword hate+ae taunt+ dictomic shield+pain never hurt and warlords tenacity and they spike damage is gone, adds will hit for 400 to 7k forceful was 9k to 25k spikes. This has been what I have encountered doing this mission atleast 20 times. Best time completion was 2.5 hours.

This mission gave me zero problems, except the weird pathing that occurs near the zone in. Clear the area to the east of the zone in before you move forward towards the west to avoid any warping mobs agroing the extra mobs in the room to the east.

Also, the Shambling Archer is perma-rooted, but kissassist recognizes it as the highest con named and will focus on it if you have it agro'd on extended target. This means that the rest of the mobs/yellow con named will pwn you. Carefully pull those rooms and then I recommend rushing the Archer's room with your group. Once you do that nothing else in the mission paths oddly or warps around... it's easy mode. If fucking Sila would spawn reliably for me I would have this mission down to like an hour, but Sila has always taken me at least an hour to spawn.... by itself. Hopefully, the changes to Sila will make that easier to deal with.

If you are doing this for the tent item drops for a single toon with no drops, you can drop and reacquire the mission and check for the spawn of the named you need to make sure the particular drops are there. All the minis are spawned at the start.

Very true. Have you ever run into an instance where you didn't get multiples of most tent pieces? The only ones that only drop once per instance are the last two, if I recall.

Yeah, always many multiples. But I did have a run where none of the names were up I needed...but it's no issues if your doing multiple runs for a group as you say only one of each pole/rope per rub. But if you're just after a single set pays to be sure you'll get all

Old mission, but this tip is new to me. I figured out how to reliably split the Four Puslings from Harris. Makes it easier if you're doing this with a lower end tank. The key is Harris will not leave his room until you deactivate the ward. Knowing this, don't deactivate the ward until you've pull the puslings and killed them. Then deactivate the ward and kill Harris. I did the target and pull with pet trick.

What does this work... ?? Anyone else try this route.. if so now tent on all my toons...

I've done it twice now. The first time by accident. I use MQ2War on my tank and fumbled switching his mode after killing Engheart. Instead of going to Sic Tank, I went to puller tank and my warrior headed in without my permission and pulled the puslings. I later figured out you don't get booted instantly and he was so quick that he came back without getting booted. I groaned and thought I was going to wipe (I wasn't set up for the pull) when I realized Harris didn't come with him, just the puslings.

I theorized the protective ward wasn't in place, because the Sila chick never entered the room with Harris and the vampire. It turned out I was wrong. I know this because I experimented the next time I did the misson and my rogue kept getting booted a few seconds into entering the hallway that leads to the final room. But I did target a diseased pusling and so I had my mage assist. Did the old send in the pet trick and the four puslings came out slick as shit by themselves. After they died, I disabled the ward and brought Harris out.

When I used to do this on my raid geared, level 110 max AA SK, I never realized how fucking hard it was to take all five at once. Now I'm bringing up a new tank with group gear and barely any more AA than the autogrant AA's (I'm talking under 14,000 AA). This makes the mission so much easier.

Even my guys Main pally 300k fully buffed had problems I'll be trying this in morning look iij ng forward to it working..

Could skip the "Forceful Prescence step and first clear Harris's room then go do the "Forceful Prescence .

Found that out when I was half asleep :P

I can also confirm this works. I targeted his adds before I dropped the barrier. They all rushed out of his room leaving Harris alone. Used sk pet to pull but if you just do a run past his doorway and cast an instant Agro spell you should be away before you get punted.

1st time..

yeesh, 1st time trying this ever.. wiped 2 times, 1st time died to rez auto-engage. got all pieces but 1 cloth...

had no issues until I reached the final boss and his puslings. not prepping, nor reading, I had him at 5% and wondered what was up.. and then I was down.

If your team ain't so hot and can't get the puslings out, burn one at a time and then the big boy.

my weaponry is TBL, armor is a mix of T2 COV, T1 TOV, and Conflagrant, some elegant *gasp*, some EoK, short on augs

I started over on a new server, was unable to get anything done on Zek.

Have Synergy on all, Power Of The Dark Reign, and Matta Muram Trials

My Team:

115 WAR, SHD, ROG, ENC, DRU
111 BER

Team I prolly shoulda had:

115 PAL, SHD, ROG, BER, CLR, ENC

Shambling Archer (first boss) has a few wicked damage shields up ... they'll tear your group to pieces.

I think I just played through the pain on that one.. I prolly spammed Crepuscular Rune..

I will strip enchantment on the next go..

I completed it for the first time as well. Just clear all the mobs prior to doing the "I seek Sila" say that brings out the final boss. That reduces the number of mobs you fight to a manageable level. For the final boss, kill the puslings first then finish off the Boss.

The Archer might down a few of your guys with his damage shield but he drops pretty easily.

My group (all 115): Pally, Bard, Shammy, Zerk, Zerk, Rogue.
