Release lootnscoot (for emu) 05/16/2026

Seems to be working ok here, just did

/lua run lootnscoot standalone

and then

/lootutils gui

and ran around killing some mobs and watched it loot the corpses and populate the ui with what was looted.

Can you be more descriptive on what isn't working, what you're expecting, what was working before, anything to go off of?

There are several settings that could impact things, like
CorpseRadius, - defaults to 100 for radius to look for corpses
MobsTooClose - defaults to 40 for radius to check for nearby mobs before looting
SaveBagSlots - defaults to 3 so won't loot if you're down to 3 slots
CombatLooting - defaults to false so you don't loot while fighting

I logged off and relogged in , let me try a reboot of computer and try again.

Just installed on 2 boxes on Emu (Laz). Works great. OG worked great, and this latest upgrade is butter.

getting themes module not found, any work around? this happpen after the update.

After update it no longer works. I then type /Lua run looted start and get :

Yes and I do that and get prompted in mq box to type the other command which also doesn't work.

I just downloaded the latest version and ran /Lua run lootnscoot standalone
It started without errors. Looted is an optional UI on top of lootnscoot. But there is also a copy embedded in lootnscoot if you just use command /lootutils gui

I've only used the version of the UI that is included inside lootnscoot (which is the same thing as looted, added by grimmier).

The embedded copy of looted that is in lootnscoot that gets used when you run "/lootutils gui" doesn't have any dependency on grimmiers themez stuff.

sounds like you're on some old version or something, nothing should be trying to load themez. but you could always download themez too, its another thing grim wrote.

I've also deleted the Lua files and folder for your Lua and installed. Is there a better way to remove then reinstall it or is that even necessary?

So I've discovered that i'm getting the same spam when I tried to run your aqo Lua. That's telling me something is messed up no?

https://www.redguides.com/community/resources/themez.3079/ just install it themez and these errors probably all go away.

yeah it looks like the copy of lootnscoot in aqo doesn't have the themez dependency removed. that's what happens when i lazily copy stuff around.

Ok, so i opened Lua gui, closed all the luas running and it all starts just fine....

I also installed the themez Lua

Awesome job, this thing is amazing. One of my biggest emu fears was the pain in my wrist as I went back to looting corpses. This picks stuff up so fast you hardly even notice the toon is looting.

Error message after running the Lua.

an error like that usually means that you've created a file or folder called imgui inside your Lua folder, which you should not do. or sometimes it means something crazy like you installed mq into your eq folder which you absolutely should not do.

although actually specified procedure could not be found sounds a bit diff from usual.. like you have an imgui.dll but its not the right dll

This is a second attempt. I had it up and running once. It worked fine. Nav took a crap and I got mad deleted the whole client and dl'ed again. Team is in FoB runnin RgMercs. Jus no lootin.

share the content of your mq Lua folder. and maybe your mq folder as well. did you do anything unusual like take an imgui.dll from elsewhere and dump it into mq? or install mq into your eq folder?

this looks like your eq directory and not a separate MQ dir.

Is box your mq folder or eq or both? These should be in your mq folder and that should be separate from your eq folder

was referring to your main mq foler, where you've installed mq, which in this case would be the BOXX folder. which as grimmier mentioned and i was trying to say is a definitely bad thing to do above, you should never install MQ into your EQ folder.
your easiest path, if that is what you did, is to install eq again and install mq again (to a separate location)

I'm struggling to get this (or rgmercs Lua) running properly. Packageman wants to install sqlite3, but one I hit install a window opens to install and does nothing. If I click it off, the Lua will load but has problems. Is there a work around for this?

i have seen this on the first load. and typically the 2nd load will fix it.

note that its also built into rgmercs now so your experience there (may) differ from the standalone lootnscoot going forward.

if stuff like lsqlite3 is failing to install its often some permissions issue with how mq is launched / your mq folder.

Yeah, I've tried launching mq as admin, didn't help. I checked and have full permission for the entire folder, so I'm just not sure whats up. I copied the modules file from my working live mq folder with sqlite in it, but nothing. The windows cmd window opens and sits there.

in general you shouldn't run any of eq, mq as admin. if you copied stuff that was working from another pc though and its still trying to install the module then it sounds like stuffs not in the right spot. it only tries to install if it can't find it.
