Q: Why is LNS coming up with loot rules for new items without asking me?
A: The UseAutoRules setting controls whether LNS will pick a rule based on various criteria. Turn it off if you want to pick rules for new items yourself.

A: Turn on AlwaysAsk setting.
Q: How to know when there is a new loot in LNS?
A: The minimized platinum icon will turn gold or new items tab will be present in the UI. The new loot window will pop up if you have AlwaysShowNewItem enabled.
