Couple of questions:
Where is the loot file kept at where it can be gone through?

Can you have more than 1 loot file? I want to run master looter file on master looters that pick up all the TS and collection items, and a passive looter file that will loot rares and other lore items master looter already has one of.

Does anyone happen to have any of these files already built up they would be willing to share?

The default is config/Lootly_Loot.ini. The master/passive looter setup is kind of the default behavior - the ML goes first with lootly, and then hands things out to the next group member when they can't loot (or the group member they are going to hand an item to can't take it).

that should be a separate lua script

Agreed. Selling stuff out of your inventory, 1) to a vendor, 2) in the bazaar, 3), via barter should be a seperate script.

Lootly loots stuff fantastically! I've been running my crew lately and swapped over to this and it's really nice!

Hi All, I just installed Lootly with MQ Next. It gives me the message
Running Lua script 'lootly' with PID 2
INFO: Lootly requires mq2dannet. Exiting.
Ending Lua script 'Lootly' with PID 2 and status -1

Do I need to install anything? I looked at dannet, but it seems like it is pre-installed already?
Many thanks

you need to load dannet

/plugin dannet

Is there a way to specify which toon gets the loot with multiple of that class?

Ive been trying to get this to work today, because of the stupid quest drops in UP, it just fills the ADV loot window up, ive tried /set item (clicked on item name) ignore, but it just keeps spamming the MQ2 window with trying to loot instead of just removing it from the advwindow. not sure what I am doing wrong here, but it just keeps trying to give the item to the master looter. ive tried /setitem, and /set item. Every 2 seconds, spam galore.
Because it will not leave quest items on corpse, it will not loot anything else until they have all rotted.

is this an item with quotes in the name? like the collectibes? if so you have to manually add it, the auto add doesn't know what to do with the quotes

Tegi Ice Essence, Lost Punch Card, etc all those essences the tegi drop. Absolute pain having to manually do it all the time, especially when been here several hours!

the syntax is /setitem ignore while holding the item.

I have these items keep in my lootly ini and it would only pass them out to toons who didn't have one as they are lore

INI:
Tegi Shadow Essence=Keep
Tegi Ice Essence=Keep
Tegi Fire Essence=Keep
...
Lost Punch Card=Keep

are you sure you're using lootly?

All the Tradeskill items its working ok. Ive done the expansion with 12 characters now, so I dont want any more quest items. I havent been holding them whilst typing in the ignore command, I have been clicking on the item name so it spells it correctly.
OK tried holding item, seems to have started working. Odd how the other method I used for the TS items worked.

Is there a known bug with Lootly that would cause a character to loot more than the specified amount? I had an item set at 4, a toon looted his 4, then the next character started to loot his. He got to 3, then the first character looted a 5th. Its marked Item of coolness=Keep|4. Its an uncommon no trade quest item so id prefer to not just ignore it and manually loot it. It tends to drop when im fighting a small horde and i might miss it. Thanks

Not to my knowledge, turn on the debug log and see if you can log the occurrence.

What is the difference between this and mq2autoloot? Why would I want to switch over to Lootly? Does it run smoother/do something better/do something different that the mq2autoloot plugin does not?

Is it possible to query inventory, and not shared bank when deciding to loot lore items?

If you ever pass through rg discord, this question will have the same response from 90% of people. Don't use mq2autoloot, use lootly. It has a ui now too. Makes things even easier. Lootlier, it's the companion ui. As for why, I dunno. I never dug into it.

wha, UI window for it, where is this elusive window I need to find

Hey there! Been doing some searching around and haven't seen an answer for this one, so thought I'd ask:

Is there an easy way to export from log or something the list of items I've just sold so I can add them to my Lootly file?

Use case - I run to vendor, open find item window, sort by value, select the 60-70 items I want to sell, and then sell them to vendor - it chugs through the list of items and sells them all, but I want to also add them to lootly for lootly sell. Not sure how to go about that other than find window, grab item, /setitem for all the lines.

Use the Lua lootier, it'll make things easier. It's a ui for lootly

Not sure. You'll have to wait for someone smarter than I for that answer

You can just run it on the master looter. Doesn't need to be everyone.
