Release Lootly (3 Viewers) 2024-01-24.1

No permission to download
@SpecialEd When using /lootly sell , if an item is not sellable, the script seems to hang, and have to /Lua stop, then /Lua run again to be able to use it again. Is the sell price available during the sell routine that it would be possible to skip over items with 0 sell price? (or is there an alternative way to prevent it from happening?)

/setitem <preference> "item name" - will set the preference for the provided item name.

could you maybe support the cursor tooltip ?
e.g
/setitem cursor and then it takes the name from tooltip ?

not really what you're asking but if you're already typing or hotkeying to do that, can't you just /setitem keep "${Cursor}"

Code:
/setitem "${If[${EverQuest.LastMouseOver.Tooltip.Length},${EverQuest.LastMouseOver.Tooltip},]}"
probably beter
Code:
${If[${EverQuest.LastMouseOver.Tooltip.Length},/setitem "${EverQuest.LastMouseOver.Tooltip}",]}

Can I please have a sanity check on syntax;

Amorphous Cohort's Boots=Class|1|BRD,BER,ENC,MAG,SHM,WIZ,ROG,BST,DRU,NEC,RNG,MNK

Correct?

any reason you're not just Keep|1 ? you don't want shadowknights, warriors, paladins, or clerics to get it? if so, then yes

Thank you @Sic , and yes, wanted to equip babies, not the SK and Cleric:)

Is it possible to have multiple of the same item in loot.ini file?
For instance on Rizlona I need a different amount of OOW spell runes on different classes. Could I do the following
Glowing Muramite Rune=Class|1|MNK
Glowing Muramite Rune=Class|5|CLR
Glowing Muramite Rune=Class|3|BRD

Any way to pass out quest items per character, up to a certain #? For example, a quest requires 6 of an item. Is Lootly capable of deciding "ok I have 6, pass on to next person in group who is also using Lootly?

When I tried it just now, it seems to leave items behind after the main looter having the # of items set under Keep|6

can use class if you want just specific classes Class|#|WAr,BRD,RNG
otherwise that is what the keep|# does - do you have everyone running lootly?

Found an issue using lootly.

It seems that any Lore items I have in my Parcels, Lootly hangs with trying to loot the second lore item.

Example.

I sent the necklace Glint to my Bazaar merchant from one of my toons, I sent it on a second toon, auto rejected back into my parcels cause no duplicate lore items allowed.

I left in parcels, cause "Freebag space"

Kill named, Glint is lootable again. Hangs trying to loot the item, instead of passing to the next toon.

Ya everyone running lootly. I'll try again tonight, I didn't use the class function just the keep function.

I like the selling and adding the item to the INI list (default keep). Very helpful! At the end of the day, I sell stuff then go through bags for any new stuff to add to sell list.

I did have the infinite loot issue with unsellable item. Stop the script, take item off of sell list, and restart clears it up. I think ideal solution would have a validation check if the item has a sell price before it changes it to "sell".

Today, I had another issue with No Drop Quest items. I guess it could potentially be an issue for any No Drop item. Lootly kept trying to force me to take it. I do not collect No Drop Quest items unless I am doing quests (and I would only want characters doing the quest to receive them). If Lootly had an option to leave No Drop Quest items out of it's handling and allow Master Looted to give them out as needed, that would be awesome.

Hey Ed,

First and foremost, thank you very much for all of your hard work and contributions to this community. You are fantastic!!

I know this topic has already been asked/answered, but I'd like to second what the first person asking about it mentioned. Lootly is treating "destroy" as "ignore" and simply leaving the items on the mobs which create a huge pile of corpses and will certainly draw attention from other players who may be passing by in the same zone. If there's any way the "destroy" option can actually become "destroy" as MQ2AutoLoot does it, that would be a huge upgrade in my humble opinion. It would seem to be a lot safer to provide an option where people can loot everything and then have Lootly destroy the items marked "destroy" as they are looted. This single issue is the only reason I'm still having to use MQ2AutoLoot and I would love to switch over to Lootly instead if this can ever get worked out. Either way - as I mentioned - thank you for all you do...you are appreciated very much!

I only have this issue when the main looter has full inventory. As long as that toon has open spaces I don’t have issues with destroy. i would love to see an update that allows other toons to destroy once the main looter is full. Thanks for all the work!

If your inventory is full, lootly should be handing out to the next group member. If everyone is full, happy birthday to the ground. 🎂

Keeps freezing.
How do I fix this.
Says not in the loot file

Thank you.
Is it just a matter of clicking and typing something while highlighted, or is there a certain text i must add to the folder in the folder itself?

More or less, I have a very slight grasp on any of this, so would you be so kind to sorta walk me through it , so I know what to do should this occur going forward?

Do I just put Quotes around these?

[O]
Outpost Reclamation Order, Beatings=Keep
Outpost Reclamation Order, Conflict=Keep
Outpost Reclamation Order, Work=Keep
Outpost Reclamation Order, Respect=Keep
Outpost Reclamation Order, Observation=Keep
Outpost Reclamation Order, Security=Keep

Thats exactly what i needed to do, I did it,, Thank you for the help.

For me this is causing a wierd conflict with the timer for overseer.mac and causes overseer to constantly try to claim quests.

Is there any mechanism to distribute an item to certain classes, but with no upper limit on how many and to distribute it equally among all the classes mentioned? For instance for ToL powersources, if I could have it equally distribute the respective powersources to the correct classes, that would be great.

It's not going to round robin the items - best bet would be setting class preference with a very large quantity.

Ok. I guess since there's no way to round robin them, I'll probably just centralize them all onto the ML and let him distribute them since they're attunable. I was hoping to RR them so I could just write a Lua macro to keep one equipped and have it more or less thought free, but it's not too bad to have to remember to keep a stock of them on each.

question to nodrop-items:
i turned lootly on on all chars, and got the lootly_loot.ini done with (for example: Faded Snowsquall Arms Armor=Class|1|BER,CLR,ENC,SHM)
the masterlooter hands out the nodrop item to the designed toon - so far, so well: BUT how can i get the specific toon to accept that no-drop item?
and: i thought it would hand out to berserkers, then clerics, enc, shm - but that doesn't happen too)
thanks for your help!

In the EQ options menu, you can set no drop prompt to never show - and then they'll just loot whatever the ML hands them.

unfortunately, except those stupid LORE-EQUIP items which despite being no drop, the "never" still prompts them

Test Server feedback:

I have been using lootly for about 3 days now, on two different groups. There is the occasional hang where you have to actual type in "/yes" as it will not accept any other input, but 99% of the time it accepts the windowed Yes or No answer if the item is not in your INI. I never had any real issue with the autoloot system either though. I really don't mind that Lootly just drops unwanted items and does not destroy them, but I can understand why the loss of functionality is still wanted. Overall, I have had a good experience with Lootly on Test
