Let me try to find a fast dropping lore item, give me a bit and will try and recreate.
Umbral Plains is a good spot since there's the scorecards and tegi essences and such which are all lore.
I had to put them all on the discard stack because it was causing so many problems with Lootly not being able to process if I had them marked as Never, or already had one and EQ giving the Lore message, etc. Lootly refused to listen and just kept trying to mash it to the ML which then locked up all other loot for 15 minutes until the Lore conflict items expired from the AdvLoot window and dropped to the corpse.
 
Have started a spreadsheet with formulas to make it easier to sort, delete duplicates, set classifications, etc. Please fill free to suggest further edits for ease of sorting. Copying dropped items per zone from Magelo, finding it gets most of them. Still have not found a clean list of tradeskill items per category; i.e. Blacksmithing, Pottery, etc. EQTC lists are not in an easy to copy format.

Wondering if there is a way to change the order items are distributed in the Class category.

Have noticed that with Keep, it goes down the party list. If an item is listed as Class and has multiple listed it still hands them out according to party list. So say the party order is SHD,CLR,BRD, but in Lootly, an item has a Class tag with the identifiers set as CLR,BRD,SHD because that is the priority that you want an item to go to your toons, it still hands it out to SHD first, then CLR, then BRD. This would also help with tradeskill items. So say for poisonmaking items, I could put an item as Rotten Flesh=Class|99999|ROG,SHD,CLR,BRD,RNG,MNK. This would allow it to go to the rogue no matter where he is in the party order, but make sure that if my group is out farming, the items are still picked up.,

I am running into issues if an item has a " symbol in it seems like it's not able to add the item to the config. There is a Class "A" Cog in Fortress Mechanotus and its breaking looting. Thank you.

you need to add those manually to your ini
 
do we have away to skip an item to one toon? doing the Mercenary of Darklight Caverns quests where you need to collect Freed Spirits if you turn them in you no longer need to loot anymore. If you select NV on the adv loot window it just goes into a loop of doom.

I did Lootly, with Lootier, and gave 999 to the class that needed it. With that said if you have two of the same class just switch positions with them in the group. IE invite the one that needs them to the group first.

Freed Spirit of Bravery=Class|999|MAG
Freed Spirit of Cunning=Class|999|MAG
Freed Spirit of Strength=Class|999|MAG
 
when solo "personal looting", it seems to always loot items I've marked as destroy. it will destroy them when I do "/lootly cleanup". is there something I'm missing, or is this a bug?

Can my lootly_loot file be to big? ive added the same spell to setitem sell multiple times and it sells it after i do but then it forgets about it.
 
I love Lootly so far; one feature that I'd love to see is a "deposit to bank" or "deposit to guild bank" feature. Does this feature exist, or are there plans to add it later?

You might want to check out YALM. It can import Lootly settings but has many more features. One of those is depositing to guild bank.

Yeah it's definitely a WIP but i think i've ironed out all the actually looting/assigning bugs finally. I might have to do a big breaking change too once i start implementing the GUI. People with 100kb+ Lootly files that are converting makes updating the global config file very slow. Only way that can be fixed is by putting everything in a database which would need the GUI to manage.
 
lootly keeps leaving items on corpse if I have that item in my shared bank. I do not have it on me because I can go back and loot it after it leaves it on the corpse. It does it will all my characters. Any idea why it is doing this?
 
Firstly, AMAZING plugin guys love it. I am running into a minor issue where the master looter hands an item to another toon bercause i marked it "Class|1|MNK".
It passes it off however if it is No Drop it kinda goes into limbo and does not loot till i confirm i wanna loot a No Drop item.

Am i missing something?
 
Hi All, is there a way to tell Lootly to just loot tradeskill items and ignore/destroy the rest? I've been farming old world zones for TS mats a lot, but there is just too many other items to run lootly without it distinguishing... bags would be full in no time if I loot everything. Thank you

Are diamonds setup in the loot ini or the lootly ini? I would double check that you are using the right loot file (the startup message should say which one is active). If that doesn't turn up anything, turn on debug /lootly log debug - it should tell you more about why it leaves items.

Sorry for getting back so late on this, but RL struck...again. Anyways, I followed up on your suggestions and the /lootly log debug thing worked great. It told me what was wrong when I went to loot the next diamond. I feel kinda foolish (well not really, there is so much to know with this stuff) but it was definitely my fault. The debug came back with a statement of Cannot loot Diamond because you have too many. I had set the Lootly.ini to "Diamond=Class|999|PAL,ENC" and I had reached that 999 limit I set. Big DUH here. I mostly posted this so that others could learn from it. NOT to admit what a dumb @$%()_@! I am lol. Anyways set the number higher and it started looting Diamonds again. Wonder of wonders.

I am loving lootly. Thanks so much for this amazing tool.

I have a suggestion. The idea is that I have my main tradeskill guy(s) and would love a way to say "give all of the tradeskill stuff to [that tradeskill guy]". This way you can (A) expand your effective bag space significantly by having two looters instead of one, and the tradeskill guy can have like 7 or 8 tradeskill-specific bags with huge capacity, and (B) get stuff to the tradeskill guy automatically thus reducing the effort of moving stuff around.

My proposal for how this would work is to add one line to Lootly.ini:
TradeskillLooters=charactername1,charactername2,....
Then whenever a tradeskill item is encountered it would do the following:
1. First check the Destroy and Ignore settings and honor those.
2. If the item has a "Class" setting in the .ini then consult the list of TradeskillLooters and only give the item to TradeskillLooters that match the set of allowed classes. Also honoring the number of items per person. If no tradeskill looter wants the item then look at non-tradeskill looters that are in the class list (basically falling through to the current logic). This last part is important for certain cases where a non-tradeskill guy needs a tradeskill item for a quest.
3. If the .ini setting for the item is "Keep" then prioritize the TradeskillLooters in the order they appear in the list, giving the item to the first one that is in the group/raid. If no TradeskillLooter is found or if they have reached their desired capacity for the item, the fall through to what is normally done (the main looter takes the item, unless he has reached his capacity).

With this mechanism you can have your main tradeskill guy be first in the list, but then you can allow other people to grab the tradeskill stuff when that main tradeskill guy isn't present in the group/raid.

I have been manually adding items to the file now, by using a hotkey with /setitem ignore or keep / sell etc while the item is on my cursor. What I am noticing is that it is ignoring what is in the ini and basically just looting everything. I have tried to /loot reload and even stopped / started the Lua, and nothing seems to be working to fix the issue. I am currently only running it on 1 toon, basically just testing it. Ive also had issues with lore items. Once you loot the lore item, it will stick on the next one you get. Even if I set it to destroy when it loots, it wont destroy and when it drops again, it will get stuck.

Take a look at settings under /advloot. You probably have autoloot turned on, which loot whores everything before Lootly does its thing.
 
I am lost. I am sitting here watch the looting happen, and so far, the only item that has been ignored correctly is Fine Feathers, I have no idea why that is the only thing thats actually ignoring properly. I have deleted the lootly.ini and the lootly_loot.ini and started from scratch, stop and started both lootly and lootier etc. I worked when I first started using it last night, and now nothing its basically looting everything
 
Are you solo or in a group? Also what about your /advloot filters? Since the Fine Feathers worked, spot check those in your advloot filters to see how those are set.

No filters. And I was solo. now I have my merc in group, and the looting is working correctly

That's when I noticed lootly asking me to confirm no drop items and looting items I had set to ignore. I checked my loot file and it had my info there. I figured it was an isolated incident on my end and it'd go away when I restarted next time. I usually do have at least one other in my group, I'll have to add another and see if that fixes it. :-)

That was the key for me for sure. I added my merc in and everything works fine now.
 
Is there a way to have the Lua wait longer when new items drop? It is only 10 seconds and that does not usually give me time to distribute a new item to the person who should get it.
