I have been playing EQ from 2002 till about 2014, took about 10 years off and started playing again just since Sept. 2024. I had been a member a long time ago and really enjoyed my time here. I was under wolfmanjack but I do not have my email or my login information that I had when I was here. I am looking forward to running some of the MQ plugins, but I just need a little time to build up my money to be able to get the level 2 so I can enjoy what I used to use back in the day. I am mostly looking for simple skilling macros for skills and for trade skills, I just want a simple assist program for my characters. Hopefully I will be able to get the monthly subscription real soon. I was always really happy with the results and the timely updates.

just gave you level 2 access for a month. welcome back to the best box community in norrath! there are a lot of resources here in the forums. be sure to acquaint yourself with the new launcher and autologin. etc. there are also some great videos to help you start up and get moving (literally)
as for plugins etc you can always try the paid plugins for free on test server before you buy. (not sure about all of them but the cwtn plugs are free to try there)
got questions? be sure to search for possible answers here in the forums as i said there is a library of knowledge here. if you cant find your answers simply ask your question politely and the members here will be more than glad to help!

It figures that the day I get access to download they take everything offline for an emergency patch. I was about to come in and say it won't let me install until I saw the emergency patch for today. Ughh, they seem to know my only days off of work to actually play. The last patch was on my only day off as well. Not a happy camper right now LMBO

While its patching today you can hone up on your Red Cent Skills!
The level 2 that you got gives you the ability to give others Red Cents for good or helpful or funny posts.
By passing out and earning these "red Cents" you can use them to keep up your free level 2 each month. Just stop by the RedCents shop - click the Redcents at the top of the page to go there.
It does not cost you any to give and in giving them out it will also earn you more. If you make posts that others find funny, helpful, good question etc then they will give you Reds and that is 10 each time. So it is a good thing to come here and post now and then.
It only takes 50 red cents a month to stay level 2 so that is super easy since you can give out 4 a day.

First, RGMercs Lua is a good place to start to get your feet back into the water
Second, it seems the restrictions on 3rd party software has been taken up a notch by DBG. With that said, if you have legacy EQ accounts with sentimental value, do not use them. I will give you the same advice as I give everyone else. These days it's not a matter of IF you get banned / suspended. It's a matter of WHEN. So, don't get attached to your accounts. Be prepared to have to make new accounts at a moments notice.
Additionally, take a look at my link in my signature for strategies on reducing your risk while using MQ.

Thank you to everyone that responded and gave me redcents. Sorry it has taken me awhile to get back into things here. I have been working a lot and really just started to use the macro's. I am always very cautious when playing and keep my /end ready at all times. I don't do much automation. I love the Kissassist and the different ini files. This is a great community of very helpful people. I will be looking to have more time to really do through and find some really good macros etc. I remember back in the early days having a rogue assist that assisted others, pick pocket and all kinds of stuff. It is really hard for a rogue now because there's so many multi boxers on now and not many groups. I just started a new rogue because I would be really upset if I lost my account that I have had since 2002. Thank you all for all your support and awesome macros. The beginners videos are awesome. They have helped tremdously.
