Hello ,

My team consists of Sk,Brd,Shm,Clr,Rog,Ber and everyone is level 115 almost max AA , wearing ToV groupgear.

I want to go to ToL. Is it better to level them in CoV or ToV or can I level in first ToL zonea as well with that level and fear ?

I know the setup is not high dps but save.

Thank you in advance

PS. I edited the gear I wear because I mixed CoV and ToV

ToL ... current expac has an experience modifier. find a camp in the tier1 zones. be happy. chance of loots and chase.

hell, do the missions, get 1.5 levels for completing all 4 - they are like a hooker with helium heels.

I would go to Terror of Luclin zone and do the Experience grind and missions.

Your team seems very well put together and you should have no problems hunting.

The zones are open area and easy to pull singles all day, the mobs low aggro range is also very good.

Only thing I hate is the EXP per kill sucks bad , its like 0.050 per kill ( like other expansions)

The mobs also have significantly more hit points then tov and cov mobs so you will get less kills per hr

I'm able to kill 300+ mobs an hour in GD and only 60 mobs an hour in KA Vethan (tier 2). So, grinding experience for me was way faster in ToV GD caves.
You do get slightly more experience per ToL Hero mission reward (first time) at higher levels so if you can grind to 118 or so and then do the missions, you'll get a little more exp from it. That was just my experience, can't say the same for everybody.

Overseer exp FTW

300 kills per hour? *boggle* I just want to know how! I'd love that.

I made some breaks the last years and I never found into overseer exp . Is there a short explanation available?

Goldenfrog has a /mac for it, with instuctions to regular config :)

GD, SE tunnels, pull the bottom 4 rooms (or charge into each one).

New xpac is alot better XP.. but woo do they have some HPs.. unless your DPS is rocking, GD might be best (quanity over quality).

if you wanna level as fast as possible grind in GD and use overseer and Do the 4 missions grinding exp in TOL is trash

My group is 3 zerkers sk bard shammy and I'm doing the same 10-15 sec kills so 4-6 mobs a min its relatively easy to do 240-360 an hour depending time between running

Thank you for your hints and tips :-) GD is very overcrowded on our server , maybe it makes sense to use Mq2grind and go for exp in the mission.

You will kill 3-4 times as fast in almost any TOV zone so the XP is better.

The TOL Missions do respawn trash with like an 8m timer atm though. So if you wanted to you could just get the task and park your group for 6 hrs in it.

I knew the Shei one did. Was going to check today if the others did, as well.

Exp is slower, but farming collectibles is way way way easier with respawns.

It will be nerfed most likely. Last year zlandicar had respawns and they removed it in the first patch.

Oh, it’ll definitely be nerfed, so get while the getting is good.

This time, I don’t think grinding respawns in missions are worth it as compared to camping namers in ME (like mentioned above).

Right now, it seems the game is VERY liberal with /pick zones in ToL. The missions, while good xp for first time, all drop 120 required gear so, IMO, not worth it quite yet. Besides, you had better bring some serious DPS and timely crowd control to win.

Tier 1 visible gear really isn’t an upgrade from T3 CoV group gear. However the T1 weapons look to be upgrades (at least for weapon ratios), as well as some augments.

I’m sure there are secrets out there, but it looks like questing and grinding are the “slow & steady” way to level. Use those potions you e been saving up. It all adds up in a game of inches.

There has to be an easier way to level, this is getting ridiculous . Its like 0.050 for 1 kill in ToL , thats like 20 kills for 1% in TOL

Easier way is:

- Kill yourself with many many many corpses, recover your level within a week from expansion launch while CoV still the current expansion, In launch use EXPENDING RECOVERY AA, BOOM you are close to 118. Used to work but not sure if it does now.

- Split your fellowship into two groups, Your main group that will xp in ToL should be the receiving one to be maxed with vitality before expansion launch, Boom you are level 117 or very close in first hour using lesson (Don't forget to stop sharing xp before you do that).

- If not in a hurry or you have an alt group, wait for xp bonus days near xmas and apply the above with some xp pots saved.

- Use chanter xp aura, it does help with long arse grinding sessions. :)

- XP is how much you gain per kill/time, DON'T LOCK YOUR MIND on just new content!.

- Some merc/partisan quests in ToV will give you some serious xp! if you haven't done them yet, DO THEM WITH XP BONUS DAYS!.

There, gave you all my secrets :)

As mentioned Overseer helps.

If not already completed, collection sets from previous expansions give 2pct. exp and it may not seem like much but it all adds up.

For grinding, I prefer old ToV zones because in new content everything dies so damn slow (I'm not boxing 6 toons).

This does not work.

For the OP, Ka Vethon is fully headshot/assassinate/decap, could be a great grind spot for your group*.

well technically it is but you cant do any of those nice things until level 120 and the thread is about getting to 120 =P

Any way you look at it, leveling is time and grind. The more dps you have the faster you will level. A solid group with as many dps toons helping kill a mob will get you what you want fastest.
