correct. eq patched today, and you ran the eq patcher

which means mq2 is now out of date and you have to wait until mq2 is rebuilt.

Hello all, sorry for the dumb question. I looked through some other posts and tried what was suggest in those. when I launch MQ2 it gives me the date and time error. I play on live and that patcher is updated and i reinstalled all my plugins and even the redguides launcher. Im at a loss, i apologize in advance as I am not too tech savvy.

bleh, it looks like if you didn't apply the 9 dec hotfix you'd still be able to get in using the current compile. I did not know that before I patched (whomp whomp).

(I think this because my offline trader was still online, and I logged him out last night after using mq2 to setup the prices).

I started using Next and spent all night trying to get muleassist to work via MAUI. Didn't get very far unfortunately. Even tried importing my old configs.

I'm not getting the option to update the patcher.. saying that it is unavailable and in game launcher saying the date time error. Everything else loads up fine.

Howdy All, With this newest expansion from everquest, there are new zones. With new zones, you need navigation meshes for mq2nav, easyfind, and anything else that uses mq2nav to move around to be able to do all the navigation stuff that you're used to. This includes the cwtn plugins for modes...

you can watch MQ2 for when it is updated > HERE <

but as mentioned in the post above yours, you should consider updating to macroquest next

Quick explainer:

EQMule does updates for legacy "MQ2". We call it "legacy" because its old and stagnated and really hasn't gotten any improvements in several years now. EQMule decides who can contribute and currently its really only just him. So that means only EQMule can update MQ2, and RedBot just posts the release when EQMule decides to release it.

Myself and the other MQnext developers do updates for "MacroQuest" or MQnext. This is what MQ2 could've been if it had a bunch of developers working on it for the last couple years. You're going to see a lot more engagement on this project because its open source. We have community engagement, issue tracker, build automation, etc. Basically its just designed to be friendly and forward thinking.

There was no problem with this thursday patch. It is what you call a "hotfix" and hardly anything changed. The problem is that nobody could fix it except one person and that one person was not available or was not communicating. MQnext on the other hand, was released within an hour.

macroquest/macroquest2 is the platform that kissassist (the macro) runs off of

yes sir- its kinda of indicating that . However, I am not even 50 % on hard drive. Its the only file on the F Drive. Curious how it mentions "Please report this to Management"
