He should just make an LDoN macro that runs the easier LDoNs seemlessly so people still get something for their money. i didn't even get the "beta" version with my donation.
North Ro LDoNs are easy as fuck and would be easiest to make a macro run them
South Ro LDoNs second easiest - same deal would be cake to make a macro to run them
Mistmoore LDoNs are spotty - some would be easy to run and some hard cause of the doors
Deepest Guk LDoNs - just getting into this LDoN is a pita. Running them even moreso for macros, id exclude this one entirely.
Everfrost LDoNs - hit or miss like mistmoore but you could make a macro for the easier ones

You people aren't thinking outside the box........
The framework would make all the code i would develop a single INCLUDE file for kissassist....
You would just add the include line at the top of kissassist.... and add one line of code to kick off the included start function.. which would run to the mission giver in the zone you are in,,,, get the mission,,, and run to the proper zone/location.. enter... perform the selected mission.
It would use eqbcs to direct the rest of your group to follow / nav to the correct zones and locations.....
and whomever is marked as Main Assist in the EQ roles window would be the person who actually gets the missions and acts as the leader.
Not that I already started working on the framework or any of the coding,,, ( cough... waiting on incentive )
But that's how it would work.... using Kissassist as the combat system..... this would be just a flawless means of getting the adventures / running to locations / entering zones / pathing to single boss mission as a start... then i would expand to handle other adventure types...
So is this officially shelved then??
would really love to see someone take this project up and at least get some form of it going!

What is the protocol for releasing what THD started on (it requested missions and ran to instance) that he sent out to everyone who donated.

Okay, then here is the one he sent out, I didn't test this version of it, but I'm fairly sure it accepts the LDON mission and runs all your characters to the zones.
It requires the MQ2Nav zone files posted earlier in this thread.

Well I'm going to look into this. Those of you that know about LDoN's start feeding me information. What zones do we get LDoN's from. Are there min/max levels for getting LDoN missions. Where are the NPC's I talk need to talk to for each of the LDoN missions. I read that THD planned to do so sort of collaboration with the KA macro to get this to work for him. I'm not sure I'm up to that challenge, but I'm willing to look into it as a possibility. I have a lot of the code I would need to get starter thanks to my work with tutorial.mac and would be interested in giving this a go.
As usual, I don't accept payments. I accept donations. If you opt to donate it is in no way payment for an expected completed work, merely you showing your support. I'd prefer any donations were held until there is something to justify it. I imagine none that previously donated are too trigger happy with the donate button anyhow as I understand you've already been burned once by this project.
As long as you shrink, most LDoNs wont be an issue with MQ2Nav. I've piloted the whole thing with MQ2nav. You'll get stuck in Takish (freakin doors!!!), guk (freakin ramps!), and rajark (freakin boxes!!) real easy on stuff if you're not shrunk/

Additionally, keep in mind too that since it's the TLPs not everyone will have access to shrink and you can't expect everyone to just get an item that shrinks you since there really aren't any at this time in the game (one comes to mind in The Deep but in order to camp that you'd need EB on all your chars... another thing not everyone has on the TLPs usually).

Definitely don't need EB for the Deep, I farmed 24 of those in era haha. In GoD era, you can easily afk that as well with almost no issue. (Hell, I did it in era)
There's always that one person who says "bah, that shit's easy"
If by easy we mean you have to spend about an hour or two extra setting up/monitoring/preparing that group to AFK farm that spot OR making sure that your group has to be a unique configuration to AFK farm the spot (IE you need a spell caster that has EB, has fish scales and then you need to change his INI for that specific location, make sure he doesnt run out of Fish Scales etc etc etc) then yes, it's easy. By you saying "you don't need EB' I am going to assume you mean you casted the spell on your chars OR you constantly ran in and out of the zone to SSRA or something to catch a breath on your entire group. OR you just ran in the 1 char to loot the item on and he didnt have EB while you farmed it on chars that did (I think CoTF is disabled in that zone so, he'd have to risk running and getting agro to get to your group - in a zone with undead and traps and all sorts of nasty stuff). Either way none of those methods sound easy to me and if you figured out some weird esoteric way that I don't know about, it's unlikely everyone would be able to figure that method out. Making something like that a requirement wouldn't be good for the macro. If for no other reason than you can run LDoNs at like level 20 and that zone is level 50+.
It isn't even obvious to people that there's a Shrink item that can be obtained this early in the game. Until I seen the post on Redguides about the NPC in the deep (or is it the gray? I always get those two mixed up) I didn't even know he existed. There aren't even any Shrink potions last I checked in the game yet (that was during I think Kunark though so.... a long ass time ago)
My point was (since I have busted Chat's balls before about this same issue) that the macro needs to be written with the people who are going to be using it in mind. Someone may be making a new 6 box group and wants to level them with LDoNs but doesn't yet have the Shrink clicky. Also, the LDoNs would be exceptionally challenging for that player as well, if they have a full caster group and 1 melee char, their tank, they wouldn't be able to use Chat's pull method because their casters would get killed the moment they pulled the mobs unless they raised their defense + had good gear... Another unlikely thing not everyone does/has or is willing to do before max level.

The last time i updated that code was just prior to my plan for its official release as an include to Kiss.
Since I am still technically on hiatus ... for an unknown amount of time... and only the kind people who donated received the beta code ... it is only fair i make the code available to all .. and anyone who wants to take up the reigns and finalize it.. its up to you...
I doubt i will return in any official capacity to this community... 14+ years of EQ .. playing,.... coding.. living it.. took its toll on me...
But the primary reason i left / am on hiatus .. was for personal issues.
The complete zone mesh and instance door locations in the mesh .json files were finalized before i left.. and have always been available...
And for those individuals who are upset that the code simply got the mission.... handled every exception for getting a mission with .. ran you to the correct mission entrance door.. moved you into the mission.. and had the code to run you back out after a win.. and back to the mission giver to rinse / repeat.. but NOT actually run the missions.... keep in mind... THAT WAS ITS INTENT.... to automate the getting/running/error handling of the ldon missions... it was supposed to be and INCLUDE file once complete to be called from within KissAssist.mac.. an use mq2navigation to actually run and hunt the mobs for a kill couint mission.
Kiss was the engine for actually killing and completing the missions.... all it took was 3 lines added to kissassist to conditionally activate/call the include.. and perform the code from LDON.INC .
