I've never used the feature to beg for buffs, however, for Shining Aegis you really want to monitor the Shining Defense component because it usually fades faster than the Shining Aegis component.

On your begger you might want to try Buffs15=Shining Defense|begfor|1|alias|altbuff1

then on your cleric you would use Buffs??=Shining Aegis|alias|altbuff1

or possibly you'd have to use Buffs??=Shining Aegis|dual|Shining Defense|alias|altbuff1

Anyway, I didn't verify this but this seems to be the format the instructions would lead you to be trying.

What revision of KA are you running. There were some changes made to the ScanIni routine a while back. I did miss skipping the begfor entries, but the "remove" entries should be being skipped.

The macro itself detects when mobs are immune to mez and quits trying.

No it doesn't. I am in the WW broodling caves and can tell you my chanter is constantly trying to mez hatchlings despite them being immune to mez.

@Ordell Yes the macro traps for a message, the question is what message are you getting that determines that the mobs are immune to the mez spell?

Is anyone having issues with their CURE section not working?

I'm still very new to this community, but I have not been able to get any Cures functioning properly on any of my healers. I've gone through all of the old forums posts I can find here and at best I can get my healer to just spam a Cure, and at worst they just ignore the debuffs entirely.

I've tried using

Cures1=Eradicate Poison|Poison
Cures1=Eradicate Poison

I've even tried setting up conditions using ${Me.Poisoned} but didn't get very far with that. (Eradicate Disease tested as well)

All of my characters are connected to EQBC as well. I'd love to try any other .ini with working cures if someone has one

@Jowston Try turning on DanNet. Cures will use the Buffs.ini file or DanNet to determine if a character needs a cure.

Hey Guys -- Thanks for the feedback. I will give DanNet instead of EQBC a try when I get on tonight.

@Zebadiah -- I did ensure that my Priests all had their Cures memorized and had tried all sorts of different logic/cure spells and just couldn't get them to fire when needed. (Either curing nonstop on MA/Last Healed group member, or never using them at all) Also tried tests using KA directly as well as running all the characters (Same .ini files) through MuleAssist. I don't know if that is even really testing anything, just another step I have tried so far.

I had planned to organize my troubleshooting into an actual post at some point this weekend if I still didn't have a solution.
I'll give DanNet a whirl and let you guys know what I find!

@deathlock -- You still having issues with your Cures?

Have you tried setting the CuresOn=3 for cure self and group?

Note from KA Wiki: Be aware you need to have your cure spells memmed if your using spells, kiss won't mem a cure to cast it.

If you are using a different macro then KA you will have to go to the discussion for those macro's and see what they say (like RGMercs or Mule)

After making the suggested changes -- switching to DanNet for my profiles and toggling to CuresOn=3 seems to have cleared up the issue and has my shaman clearing those debuffs almost instantly now

Using the latest version of Kissassist. First thing I notice is my bard trying to mez a single mob while the group is attacking it. Second, my rogue in the group is leaving a corpse like 200-300 feet away from the camp. Not sure how or why he even ends up there, but when I revert back to my last version, it stops.

Melee distance was 75, changed it to 45 and it seems to have helped. Mez radius is 70 on the bard, not sure why he would be trying to mez the mob the group is beating on and no other mobs on the xtarget. Doesn't do this with another version I roll back too. I haven't messed with my ini files since the first version of
v12.001 (I use a slightly pet section modified version).


EDIT: Mez radius or meleedistance still having the same issue. Even tried recreating the ini files.

Far as the rogue, i turned off kiss and just left him in the group on sneak and hide, low and behold he ends up in the same spot that he has died at previous, but still there in sneak and hide. Apparently the mob is summoning him to the spot, strange part is that he is the only one in the group getting summoned.

Yah, it is. That is why I had such a hard time trying to figure it out. Still not even sure he is getting summoned, but he is about 200 ft away from camp in the same spot. My only other explanation is getting knocked back, maybe the other toons are returning to camp when getting knocked out of camp. Maybe a moveto or come to me command getting passed for some unknown reason via dannet to my rogue. Not really sure. lol

The bard is all good now, just get an error message here and there about not having a valid target for /face after mezzing a mob.

I haven't updated my ini for the new expansion yet, but I have the same ini for all three rogues, only one that is in the group is doing this. With or without any macros running on the rogue that is in the group. I don't have it hard in the ini but I do issue the command /camphere on with all my toons.

Set your ReturnToCamp=1 and set UseMQ2Melee=0. Just change ReturnToCamp first and see if that helps, if your still having the issue then turn off UseMQ2Melee.

Still the same, just the strangest shit. The tank doesn't retrieve the corpse when running past it either.

That is strange, if his returntocamp is on he should be moving back to camp, if farther than Campradius.

I can't fathom any reason why even without running any macros on this toon and in sneak and hide mode, max aa that he would even end up in this spot 145 feet away from camp. Now I have to sit here and watch it for who knows how long to see it actually happen.

The only thing I haven't done is update next and patcher since the last past.

I updated eq and next. So I literally just watched my rogue run right up to the tank as he was pulling and get aggro with the emote your holdout blade falls away, takes a beating without even attacking and dies. lol

I think It might have something to do with leveling past 115, using a couple pet cast items, seems when the rotation pulls the mob with an arrow and then casts an item that sends a pet, the tank runs back to camp the pet dies and the mob summons a toon from the group. Did away with the pet cast items and see how it goes. haha

Ended up resorting to dragula.Lua on the main tank/puller to grab corpses. Started summoning my bard after the rogue would die.

Nothing changed other than running dragula and my puller just stopped at pull spot, try to run him around and he snaps back to pull spot. Stop the dragula script and restarted kissassist and same thing. wtf is going on. never had issues like this before.

Is there anyway to get all of my group members to sit when someone in group calls out they are OOM and needs to med?

I usually use my bard to pull but when he sits at like 2% and does his group call to med. He sits but everyone else still is standing. Some need to med and some do not.

This is working well for the most part on my wiz. I had an issue today where we arrive at the camp, set up, and I start pulling. Wave after wave of mobs and the wizard is not fighting. So I dig into the .ini files and find nothing suspect. Then I reconfigure the tank settings. Nothing. Restart all plugins and macros. Nothing. 45 minutes later I look and notice he is STILL INVISIBLE FROM THE RUN OVER. This is why I had to wear a helmet in school.
