KissAssist v8.5.2 Updated 2/10/2016 - Major Maintenance Release
Fixed Buffs not recognizing buffs from ini file.
Buffs tweaked - some major delays between buffing taken out.
Heal tweaked for speed. All I can say is WOW!
Spell interrupts now working. syntax was in the wrong order.
Pet event removed that was causing random mobs to be written to MobsIgnore causing pulling issues.
Bard Mez fixed.
Some responsiveness tweaks to help toons during combat.
Updated Mq2Cast spell routines included for people having issues with Twincast not working.

Once doesn't work on dual tag and Guise is an item so dual doesn't work on it. Try

Does kissassist have the ability to specify group heals like Heals1=randomAoEheal|2 ? or do I need to run a different healing macro to get that capability. I'm currently grouping in Plane of War and a lot of the mobs do AoEs and I'd love to be able to set it up my cleric to intelligently use group heals.

Group heals are automatically detected

Group Heal Spells percentage represents an Average Group Heath. ie 3 toons at 50 70 100 health = 220/3 = 73% averaged group health.
So if you set your spell to heal the group at 75 it will cast it as 73<75.

I read through your updates and often find myself saying "Yay good updates!" and then I find myself saying "Son of a bitch now I have to edit a bunch of ini files." I just don't know how to feel sometimes.

Kiss updates get included on patchdays to the compile and updater. All you need to do is download the file from the first post and copy over the old one in your root MQ2 > macros folder.

Kiss is remembering the last spell I had memorized as intended, but when it buffs it mems the buff, then the original spell, then another buff, then the original spell, then another buff....you get the idea. lots of sitting/standing and memming.

yes its just coded not to do that if you have rez sickness.

if you have a lot of buffing to do when the mac starts or something I can see that would be annoying.

Fixed several issues that was stalling and trapping toon in an endless loop. - ctaylor22

Gift of Mana Section
GoM Spells increased from 2 to 3 slots
Timers have been attached to GoM spells
If casting a 70s duration HoT Spell Kiss will no longer spam cast long duration spells over and over . It will move to next spell.

Improved casting of Combat Abilities /disc
Kiss will now recognize if it successfully cast a disc.
Kiss will no longer spam every disc it tried to cast as a success.

Heals
Further tweaks for single heals to increase speed and accuracy.

Burn Section
Characters will no longer attempt to activate burn if dead or not in zone.

Misc
Added a cursor check before rememming MiscGem spell
 
during the last releases my KISS stoped looting. I didnt change anything in my .ini.

Anyone else got problems with auto looting while running KISS?
 
so is this good to go for progression ? and how is buffing outside of group working ? I still try to use kiss for pling and my enchanter just refuses to buff anyone except the ma and the group he is in not the pl group .... is it me or is there a issue to this I don't know about?
 
I don't think Kiss is set to buff outside group anyone other than MA. I don't think it ever has been, and doubt it ever will (but who knows what 9 might all entail).

You could try to get them to buff using downshits and EQBC and by having you "PL" toons send a //bct message to the buffer telling them to mem said buff, target said toon, and cast it on them when they are missing certain buffs.
 
it used to this is how I pled my toons id put a druid and a chanter outside a group and roll them up , worked fine however I think I had to cast it manually one time on all then whenever the buff ran out it would refresh

OK guess I found the problem.

loot.ini was set "mobstoclose=20". I changed this to "1" and my toon started looting again. Strange thing is I never changed anything in the .ini before :p Well nm it works again!
 
Anyone else having issues with toons just standing around from time to time in the middle of a session they have already been running? Not sure its Kiss related because I reverted back to a few different versions of Kiss with similar results. Also noticed they don't always turn melee on when pulling with melee, just following the mob from time to time waiting for an event about hitting but not turning attack on, failing the pull or standing out there waiting for death.

Edit: Downloaded a new copy and seems to have cleared up, maybe my download was goobered.

From what I can see, KISS will still buff others outside of group, as long as they are listed in the KissAssist_Buffs.ini file, so basically if you want to have one group buff another group they all have to be accessing the same ini file. make sure you have /tgb on for group buffs or it won't work. the /tgb is an EQ thing.
 
having issues with kiss since last patch , shaman isn't healing as fast , paladin isn't picking up mobs and with me chain pulling playing my ranger manually - pulling 1 while beating on other one paladin will stand there in camp when main mob dies and second mobs in camp and let me die on ranger / shaman doesn't heal either like they just stop assisting after first mob dies

also like to add that paladin will stop and buff mid pull and doesn't pick up adds
