We are immensely grief stricken by the news of Kevin Lydy's (Panatellen) recent passing. Kevin was an integral part of EverQuest and its development over the years; his passion and commitment can be seen in every pixel of art he created. He was incredibly humble and always had an infectiously positive attitude and a great sense of humor. He was so much more than just a colleague; he was also a mentor and friend to many of us.
Whether it was his works in games, music, or book writing, his life has touched so many people and will continue to do so for many years to come. Besides his extensive work on the EverQuest franchise, he was also a Vice President of Midway Games at one time, as well as a published author many times over, and had played music with some of the biggest names in rock. Claiming he will be missed is a vast understatement to the void this has left in our hearts.
Our deepest condolences and sympathies go out to his family, friends, and the multitude of fans he made along his journey through life. Rest well dearest Adventurer!
