Guide - Jewelcrafting 0-300

Hey All,

With help from @jb321 and his Tradeskill Construction Macro, here is a guide to easily get Jewelcrafting from 0 to 300.

Step 1 - You will need 1x Black Pearl, bought from summoned Resuply Agent (AA Skill, Special Tab)
Step 2 - Run /mac tsc beginner jewelry to get JC up to 50ish and acquire the JC beginner trophy
Note: Be sure to have a Jeweler's Kit in an open slot.
Step 3 - You will need to pre-gather a few items for skillups:

1. 200 Diamonds (Dropped, bazaar, or vendor hunting)
2. 400 Blue Diamonds (Dropped, bazaar, or vendor hunting)
3. 400 Velium Bars (Vendor bought - Talem Tuctor, Jewelry Building, City of Thurgadin A | Loc: -334, -71)

Step 4 - Replace the TS_Alliance.ini with the modified one found in this post.

(Note: It will be located in \VeryVanilla\Live\Release\Macros\tradeskill\)​

Step 5 - Run /mac tsc shop alliance while in PoK. This will have your toon automatically run to Jeweler Nonny and buy all the other necessary gems and metals.
Step 6 - Run /mac tsc skillup alliance (Note: you may need to pause (/mqp) and manually vendor sell the created items to make room)

Alternate Option (Quicker & more costly) - Run /mac tsc SkillDestroy alliance (Note: This option will require no interaction once started, but you will not be able to vendor sell any created items to recover some of the plat expenses)​

There may be some leftover TS mats afterwards. The quantity of combines in the INI are rough estimates from my run on one of my toons today.

Update: If for any reason you run out of materials before reaching the cap for that combine, pause the macro (/mqp) and re-run /mac tsc shop alliance to replenish supplies. Afterwards, you can re-run /mac tsc skillup alliance and it will pick up where your skill level is at.

Update: Revised the quantities on the combines to better account for higher failure rates.

Found out that the lag in PoK can interfere with the /mac tsc shop alliance step and cause the incorrect quantities from being bought.

A little late for anyone that already went to 300, however I used this setup for jewelry. Will go to 250 without Blue Diamonds and Velium bars. Runs on the old tradeskill mac by placing the three mac files in your macro folder and the jewelry.ini in your tradeskill folder. Load up on Blue diamonds and (oh yeah velium bars sold in thurgadin) and let er rip. /mac jewel jewelry will start it off and it buys from the vendor items needed, does the combines and then sells the items you made and repeats the process until your out of blue diamonds or you hit 300. You need like 100 free slots in inventory because it buys 100 bars at a time and the possibility of making 100 pieces of jewelry. You can modify how much to buy and what not. I haven't used it in a while, but I would think it should still work. hehe

Pop this guy in Guild Lobby, PoK, Guild Hall, or Housing ... zone in and out of your house or other zone and this guy will RESTOCK everything... unlimited Black Pearls or whatever you need.

Just don't tell the devs ! /snicker

Oh, I didn't try his.

Did this the other day, and it worked fine for me. I had to stop the macro and restart it when my bags got filled (pausing and restarting didn't work well for me.) Also, when initially starting it and before it purchases the materials, there is a sort of inventory it does and it takes a bit before it begins.

I feel like a cheaper alternative is to use Raw Velium Ore (or the CoV version if you prefer).
That works for both Smithing (Velium Sheet) and JC (Refined Velium)
The combines are simple, and you can get the mats through Overseer.

It will however not help you getting your trophy up unless you start he trophy out a little bit.

As @freeferli stated, most of us have a million TS mats from ToV/CoV. Going in and looking at those expansions TS lists is the easiest way to get past 250 and max your trophy. I still have 10000 of those ToV diamonds sitting around.

This is amazing, using on my main and he is almost 300 after a day. Going to get it done on my other two boxes as well. I wish there was one of these for every TS.
