it might be worthwhile to have your group chasing you, that way you bring the pain to the mob instead of bringing them back tot he group

not all mobs root, find diff mobs that dont do that
I dont care for mobs that root stun or charm or gravitate pull you, and I tend to avoid them unless I have no choice with it
then I pull accordingly (keep grp close or have them follow me)

Load up on magic resist, spell buffs and any armor you can get. Will help you resist it and also make it break faster than the timer if I’m not mistaken?

Bow? FD? Send pet? Non damage spell just to slap it up the side of the head.

You can also just click on that Come to Me button when you get stuck and the team will run to you and engage the mob, then run back to camp after the fight.

Have one of your group members set to buff you with endure/resist magic.
