  1. Hunter
What class is having this issue?
  1. Paladin
How often does this issue occur?
Always
In hunting a cave system, my hunter consistently passes mobs on the attack list to target a mob that is the first in the list. This ends up pulling a train of mobs to the target and creates havoc. Is there a way to set the list to tag the closest NPC on the list instead of the furthest because it comes first on the list?

unfortunately it seems thats the way it works in hunter mode, it will pull the mob based on the list you created, looking for the first mob and if it there it will go to it, i do not see any setting to allow it to stop and kill anything it picks up.

Thanks! I wonder if there is a plugin that might help with that. I have not found anything.

rgmercs can pull by 3ddistance instead of xyz dist.
unless it handles sorting the hunted list by what mob is closest, and or stops to kill anything that attacks, same issue

and by sorted list of hunted mobs, is what the user has entered that they are only interested in those types of mobs

@Dragonfire, If you clear the mobs on the way to the mobs you want to pull would that help? If you had just one named you wanted to give priority in pulling would the respawn rate allow you to pull all the mobs between you and them so when the named respawns the other mobs will not be an issue?

I am clearing the area, not looking for a particular named, farming Rk. II spells. I have a list of mobs found in the area that the hunter targets. They are mobile and spawn randomly throughout the valley/tunnel system. The list is Mob A, Mob B, Mob C, etc. When the hunter looks for a target, and sees Mob A popped in the area, it will go after that one regardless of how many Mob Bs, Mob Cs, etc. are in the path. It is the first on in the list, so that becomes the priority. I am thinking that creating a path through the area may be the way to go, but I have not yet learned how to path a hunter.
