Hello for the love of me i cannot figure out how to turn MQ2 off when in game, even if you close the application it does not stop the application very confusing. Is there a /mac turn off or something along those lines please?

There are a number of ways... you haven't said exactly what you want to do, so here are some options:

/end (this ends the macro that is running, but MQ2 is still loaded/injected into the game on your computer)
/mqpause on (this pauses the macro that is running, but MQ2 is still loaded/injected into the game AND the macro is technically still running -- it is just waiting for you to "/mqpause off"

Alternatively, you can go to your task tray, right click the MQ2 task icon, and click exit/close. That stops it from running in its entirety.

to turn off a macro (like Kissassist) type
Rich (BB code):
/end

to turn off MQ2 in one instance type
Rich (BB code):
/unload
in that particular instance.

/unload still leaves MQ2 running on your computer and does not affect other instances which could still have MQ2.

You quit MQ2 completely it by right clicking MQ2 icon in your system Tray (usually lower right corner) then Exit.

You can also right click MQ2 icon then Refresh Injections which will start up MQ2 again in your instances.

EDIT: Also what Sum1 said :)

i do apologize you are right i didn't say what i wanted to do, Basically my bard keeps singing while im running toons all over the place and keeps getting my group killed. So /mqpause on would probably be the way to go.

But also i dont want MQ2 running on my SK but on the other accounts, so from what Playj sais im assuming if i do /unload on his MQ2 window it will turn his off and leave the others running?

thank you both for your replies.

Correct, if you /unload on the SK, it will completely turn off MQ2 there and leave MQ2 running on other accounts.

One reason to /unload is if you plan on taking some screenshots and sharing them. Too many cases of people posting MQ2 running screenshots on DBG forums :)

Otherwise, you could use MQ2 on the SK for map and not actually run any macros.

Well i like to actually play the SK and cant be bothered with switching 4 windows per mob this just gives me the flexability of being semi lazy and to be honest MQ2 plays my alts better than i can lol, My zerker and bard and shammy i dont really care about these as they are just alt accounts and the last thing i need is my main account being banned etc but thank you for the replys this has solved my problem.

oh for your bard you want to set up a two line hotkey:

/bcga //mqp (this pauses all your group's macros)
/bct bard //twist off (this tells bard to shaddap n stop singing!)

then u can hit whatever invis you want, and bard wont break it..

Based on reading, it seems what whiteviper wrote is all you should need to do. You should really check out this page about MQ2EQBC for how to handle all your boxes from one driver.

You can do a /bca //end hotkey to end all your macros, followed by a second like that does /bct Bard //twist off

What playj said! omg these few words of wisdom are so divine! I raise my Ballast Point Victory at Sea to you my friend!

I never knew of /unload !!! Back when I was getting trained I literally logged out my whole team and logged them back in so I could record a video to send to daybreak without MQ2 running. I wish I knew of that command then, woulda saved me mad time!

Great words of wisdom from everyone the /unload worked fantastic for my sk lat night and the /mqtwist off was perfect for my bard. Still havnt learnt how the afk command works yet either but im sure ill work it out, however not to sure on it how safe it is etc.
