Question - How do you come out of Autofollow when the character you are following dies?

If I have a Cleric on autofollow and the character I am following dies, I cannot /follow off to a corpse. How can I come out of /follow when I am now "following" a corpse?

do /afollow off i belive. If im wrong someone can correct me :P

try /afollow unless you actually started following with /follow

/afollow to start, /afollow again will stop it I believe ?
isnt /follow eq command (/afollow is more reliable..?

I have a hot key set up on each toon:
/nav stop
/mqp
/target smokeybear(or whatever your toon name is)
/afol

Or if you don't have anything going on:

Target Yourself and type /afol

It can be a real PITA

Thanks for input. When powerleveling, I have alt in follow with follow me button. If I have a bad pull and die, I cannot target the character that I was following because he is dead. This means that I cannot move without logging out and back in---not the ideal situation especially for classes that don't have camo/invis...

As previously said if the lead toon dies you can switch to the follower and do /afollow off to stop following
