Question - How do I have my group stop fighting a target, and assist me on a new target.

I manually play my main, and have my group assist me. I'm having a problem finding the right command to make my group stop fighting a mob and assist me on a new mob. For example when a raid target spawns adds, my group will stay on the boss. Sometimes they will stay locked on a target that we stopped fighting, or wiped on, even after it's long gone, and I have to restart kiss to fix it.

There has to be a command to do this easily? I've searched for how to do this and haven't found an easy answer. I've tried things like /backoff and /switch, nothing seems to work.

Anyone have a clue? Thanks

Is your main marked as your main assist? Thats how I do it.. I have all toons assist my bard and use that to move focus of targets.

Yeah I mark him MA usually. I've tried to both ways. The rest of my group just stays focused on the first target till it's dead.

I'm having about the same problem too, just opposite of you. Any suggestion how to manual switch target with your KA Tank? I try clicking on the different target mob, but KA just switch back.

/switchnow always work for me.... can also try having your 2nd ETW set to group main assist's target

If /switchnow doesn't work search kiss for it on notepad or wordpad and see what it's set to. Could be a bad alias. Does official kiss have it as /switch or /switchnow ?

The /switchnow seem to be working for switching for dps alt, but as a tank KA switches back to prev. target.
I will check more on switch command, but nothing with switch or switchnow is in the macroquest.ini

Did you ever figure out how to switch the tank KA without out it switching back to prev.target? I am in the same boat and can not seem to switch targets on the Tank without it switching back also. There is nothing more annoying when you do quests where the NPC's go inactive or start to run away and your tank and groups follow it.

/switchnow is not in the ini file it is a /bind used in Kiss. Looking through the Combat code I don't where the MainAssist/MainTank will switch targets if you change your target. I think if you are using MQ2Melee and you switch your target that MQ2Melee will switch you back until the mob is dead. Try turning off MQ2Melee and see if that makes a difference.
