Wish I could get this to work well. I have run 4 lvl 125 cwtn toons (sk, clr, 2xmag) and a 125 wiz and 125 bard. I bought some Ogre pots for my small toons as they were getting stuck in the canals. But still only get at most as far as the lich and wipe. SK seems to ping all over the place picking up adds an group gets all split up. I've tried will SK having FollowMe on and off. I've tried SK hitting ComeToMe when he's tanking. But all gets so crazy on lich that the all wipe. Even before that, with the spider going upstairs and downstairs, the toons get stuck behind webs and can't get to the SK so I have to manually run them there.
Any idea what I could be doing wrong please?
I don't see what it matters that toons are stuck in the webs. Let them ping-pong around. Use hot key for pets if the LEM isn't getting cracked taken care of for you. As I posted earlier, if you're SK encounters 2 mobs, he's going to burn with the LEM's configuration. I adjust that so I can choose when to burn. I like to burn on the Lich. Shalo is just a beat down and hope called out toons don't visit you.

Make sure you are only running the script on the tank, no one else. That utter chaos sounds familiar when I accidently ran it on everyone with /dga.

Couple of things could be impacting you.
Out of date meshes - make sure they are updated
Are you running this on multiple toons at once or just the tank? Should be run on just the tank only
Low DPS. When you say SK is running all over getting adds, what are the adds from? The mummy and widowmakers or random other mobs in the zone? If it is other mobs in the zone make sure you are not running multiple automations on the toons. I have never seen it pull anything other than what it was supposed to. If the adds are the mummy and widowmaker, are you are getting multiples of each, then your DPS is probably too low.

I am sure others will have more ideas for ya.

If you have ogre illusion and levitate on you shouldn't have any problem with getting stuck the canals. I was getting stuck at first but after doing illusion/lev I have never gotten stuck again. Pushing up against the webs is no big deal, you are not really "stuck" as soon as they disappear you will just continue to move as normal.
 
Ok I have tried this several times and so far it hasent worked very well. I get wiped everytime. I put on Bard Lev to start but it seems like lev drops on my Gnome Rogue and my Halfling Cleric and they both end up in the water and cant get out.When this happens I know it is over. I think I have tried this probably 15 times now and wiped everytime and I do have /lem activated. Is it better to use Flight of Eagles to lev with it Bard Lev?

I do not use lev in this mission as I'm not a fan of lev much at all. Any chance your gnome has jann's veil? I use the illusion on my gnome cleric and it works great along with an older mesh that contains jumps over the water. The newer mesh does not seem to contain them so I stayed with the older one. I can send it to you via pm if you don't have a backup and want to try it (or post it here if that's cool with mods).

Or you could try the barbarian campfire idea others posted above so he's not such a...well...gnome.

I also am not a fan of lev either. I just used it because everyone said to make sure you use lev. That being said i never thought about the campfire thing. I will try that and see what happens
 
Shrink is a death sentence in here. Is it be possible to detect shrink and add some checks in the startup routine to addresses any shrunk group members?
Not even sure how I am getting shrunk to be honest. I have it disabled in CWTN. I didn't think persons outside of group could drive-by shrink people, but I am suspicious that some good-Samaritan in Laurion's Inn is policing the hallways when I am afk. Maybe mq2nav uses shrink to mitigate stuck chars? trying to keep an eye on where this is coming from.

After dancing through hoops with illusions, grow, etc. I gave up and just started using the barbarian campfire. It’s pretty idiot proof and I don’t need to examine 6 different toons. Haven’t gotten stuck since.

So I clicked the copy button in the right corner and placed this in my LEM. Ran the mission, worked until Shalo and then spammed BCT commands. So I tried to figure out why it was sending BCT commands when I use dannet. INI showed dannet. Well, after a little help in discord, that is not the right LEM.
When you manually copy the entire line manually I got a different EVENT Code. Might want to see whats tieing the little button to another LEM.

Fixed and will give the new mission a try with the proper LEM>

Hope this helps someone that experiences the same issues.
 

Essentially, it has the 2 players run a circle together, around the forge area. The slow auras pretty much bumble around in the middle of the forge like a confused toddler lost in a grocery store. Its not perfect, I still get blown up occasionally. If they both explode at same time its a wipe, but if they pop at different times, I can general heal up in time. Not sure why its popping an AoE when there is no visible touching.
 
After having been using this for a while, I am now regularly (last 5 times in a row) getting all achievements. Things I changed for my runs post patch:

1) I run LEM on all the guys but I do not run it on my tank. Previously I was running LEM on the tank and running this Lua (I'm slow apparently), so I let the script fire it off for the tank
2) I use Jann's Veil on everyone for this one, previously I was using a Barb campfire
3) I burn on the lich
4) My bard is running Sic's KA 125 Bard file and the LEM

I have a single hotkey I run on this for eggs...I have noticed, that sometimes it takes an extra command to get the eggs under attack by the pets
/tar egg /tar egg /dgae /pet attack egg /dgae /pet swarm /dgae /pet qswarm

It has also seemed that they are more likely to engage faster if the tank has auto attack on while having the eggs targeted. Sometimes I just hit "Q" when the tank gets to the camp for the eggs.

I have also noticed occasionally on the spider it takes the tank a few extra seconds to attack after re-engaging

Other than those two items it is working great now.

I win probably 90% of the time. But I have to use a lot of tricks to make it happen. I only run KissAssist on my characters.

1. Buff to the max. Even things like cleric's Shining Defense on the tank and DI. Also Enchanter runes.
2. Avoid shrink. My shammy shrink buff has a condition to not fire in this mission.

3. Custom mesh with settings that help avoid chars getting stuck in geometry.

4. Start with group standing on blob (or just behind) spawn point, trigger event with bard who selos and levis down to the group. This location is within casting sight of the Lich probably 70% of the time which helps on Lich burn.
5. Small burns on blob to avoid the add. Tank uses 2h weapon for DPS.
6. With a pet-heavy group I use pets to kill the eggs, only rarely get a blue spider add.
7. Burn hard on Lich. Even the cleric uses Turn Undead. Enchanter IOG and Haze. Rarely get add.
8. Tank backs off at Lich 5% to stand on Shalowain. Let the dots finish off the Lich.
9. Maybe most important, cleric runs on a 2nd computer with NO automation running, during Shalowain the cleric spams group heals and I don't even worry about the echos AE. Just heal thru it. Some burns are still active from Lich phase.
10. My Lua will attempt to run chars away for the Echos but it doesn't work very well. (Lua runs on all chars except for cleric!)

12. Still need to actively run my tank manually and use my New Target button to keep my pet classes on the eggs! I also spam /chase on and /mqp off at phases to ensure everyone is in the game.
13. Running SK, Mage, Bard, Enchanter, Cleric, Shaman and all are max AA and very well-equipped with gear.

My biggest problem remains the eggs and spider phases. Sometimes I get spider adds because the pets won't engage the eggs. Then the boss spider warps back to her starting point and kills my cleric while I'm trying to clean up the blue spider. I'm getting better at leaping out of a window and getting the SK back to save the cleric. The mage pet can tank the blue spider for a long time with shaman heals until I can drag the boss back to it.

It's getting to where it's fun after a lot of trial and error finding a strat that works most of the time!
 
I use SK as primary tank, shm, bst, rog and 2 mages. When everything goes as I hope this is successful but since the last patch I find pathing issues that half of the time ends up with some of group dying before the tank can get down to the slime. I try to pause and use a rez token but this leaves me with a toon or two with limited capacity (no mana, no end) and generally leads to a wipe. I've updated my mesh, and perhaps I need to manually update it or something but I am not up to speed on how this is accomplished. IF anyone has any suggestions please let me know! I swear once I have 5 more necklaces I will never do this one agian!
While I don't have your problem by using levitate on & Ogre campfire, I do COH my SK with my Mage to gain that extra couple seconds of DPS on the ooze.
 
One more thing. If this LEM hasn't changed since the last time I have used it, it's going to set your SK's burncount to 2. You can manually change that while running to the slime. If the green slime pops, your going to burn.
After using this script for a good while now and after DM'ing the creator with my compliments and kudos, I was able (brave enough) to look at the script and edited this myself, vs having to remember to do it manually each time - the lines that control these actions are surprisingly obvious, and I am an idiot.

So, my burn# is retained at my usual save for CWTN, assist resets to 100% vs 99%, etc. (Next thing will be a giving the healer / kiter one more second or so before they move each time, so they can get off a spell cast - I see the interruptions and want to be more efficient, and its only off the mark by such a small amount)

That's not to say there aren't some things that are buggy with EQ, we all have the stuck spawn issue / line of sight, in a wall or floor, etc.

Last week I had 3 spider adds in one run due to pets being stuck somewhere, so I moved my summon companion hotkey to right below my pet spam social (shown by others in posts above) - a quick summon and they are back on the eggs instantly.

Sometimes my positioning for tanking the boss is not perfect and I blast my myself with my kiters before I move my tank, all that said, it's been all wins for a while now with a rare single death (other than mercs, 50/50 on if I lose the caster mercs - any other merc always dies)

Melee heavy group scenario I use:

(SK, SHM, ZRK, ROG, BRD, Any Toon) My any toon is alts or friends needing achv's, HOnestly at this point it is just my BST or CLR getting currency they don't need trying to get TS armor drops.

1. Have your safe spot picked out for Echoes unless you prefer the drag Shalowain around method. (prefer to use a lem to run them there when the time comes)
2. Make sure everyone is larger than a gnome with a perm invis. Unless you can remember to refresh bards lev as it may run out if you are to slow.
3. Start event with 5 toons behind blob. Run event starter down kill Blob about 2.5 mill dps should hold off adds.
4. When blob is at 20% (Your % may vary) run one toon to each upper floor locations by egg and one to a lower location (pause them). (3 spots total use a Lem or do it manual whatever works for you).
5. Finish Blob with tank then, engage Spider with your healer by your side. Drag spider to 4th location along with you healer and "any toon".
6. Spider has shit for hp, kill with tank and healer. When he depops, run tank over to be ready to grab spider and then kill eggs by whomever they are by.
7. Bring spider back to tank spot and, rinse repeat until last round, drag spider to where Lich is gonna spawn and the rest of the crew.
8. Engage rest of group on spider, then Lich.
9. Burn don't burn whatever, try not to get adds, if you get add, just take care of add from Lich and continue on Lich.
10. Around 10% (your % may vary) clear aggro on your tank and stand by Shalowain ready to engage. (You don't want your tank to run cause he got an echo, Top aggro spot never gets Echo).
11. Your group should be running around like fruit cakes finishing off Lich, then come assist you on Shalowain. (I like to burn here).
12. I use a lem to run away whatever toons get called out to safe spot, fool proof for me. You can go optional Bard DA or try the move Shalowain around avoiding the Echoes thing.
13. Kill Shalowain.
14. Swap toons, Don't swap toons, open chest get Loot.

I typically clear out two golems done in the lower fields and run my toons far far away and rarely get more than 1 set of Echoes. If I do get another set Shalowain is at like 10% or less, so not a big deal.

If you are pet heavy, then this is not for you. if You are dps light, you may have to take a little longer on the mummy phase due to adds, but as long as you keep ahead of them no biggie. If you have other means to avoid the affects of the Echos, no need to run, just power through. I get all the achieve's 99% of the time I run this. Safe, semi fast, mostly bullet proof.

I have a Mage pet and ranged Ranger attcking set one. All goes well. When it's time for set two (the one upstairs), no one attacks the eggs. The ranger pings up and down from egg camp 1 to egg camp 2 web barrier. Eventully this times out and the Queen resumes. Sometimes it sommons my Tank and the team follows, other times the tank just stands at camp 1 and I have to manually move. Once we move to set 3, it's back on the main level and things pick up with ranger and mage pet. I believe I have the most upto date mesh.

Any suggestions?

Several thoughts...

1. Depending on your automation you may have to target the eggs with your MA so the mage automation will send pet on them. Otherwise the pet may stay on the big yellow spider.
2. When spider spawns on the 2nd floor you can nav up to the 2nd floor on the NorthEast end of the building and be able to see the eggs directly and stand there without getting punted back downstairs. Then your tank can run in and grab her quickly upon egg death or blue spider spawn.
3. If you get a blue spider add switch to that immediately and avoid dps on the yellow spider so you don't get overwhelmed.
4. Sometimes your pets will not get off the yellow spider until you do a /pet stop and a /pet backoff and then a summons companion command. Then target the egg and /pet attack again.

Sometimes it sommons my Tank and the team follows, other times the tank just stands at camp 1 and I have to manually move. Once we move to set 3, it's back on the main level and things pick up with ranger and mage pet. I believe I have the most upto date mesh.

You are doing a lot better then me...but here are some hotkeys I use and work well:

my toons have this setup:
Command1=/plugin MQ2XAssist load
Command2=/xtar set 1 groupassisttarget

so xtar 1 is always the yellow spider, xtar 2 is always add.

for egg, my MA has this hotkey.

Pets still get stuck sometime, then you need to switch to mage and summon companion.

even with these, a lot of things can go wrong...and surely does.
 
First of all, thank you for all the hard work. This is amazing. My team has won twice and lost 4 times. My problem mostly seems to be on the second egg sac camp. I have a Mage pet and ranged Ranger attcking set one. All goes well. When it's time for set two (the one upstairs), no one attacks the eggs. I 100% ignore what any toons are doing while the eggs are active. On my driver I spam my hot key until I see the egg % dropping and will hit again if I see the % go up at all.

Anyone know why I might be pausing while the group navs to the heroes forge zone? No errors they just stop naving

I was just curious if anyone else is having problems with getting the Soundproof achievement? I'm running all CWTN characters (SK, SHM, NEC, NEC, BST, ROG) and EQBC. I'm just running /Lua run hafmission on my SK and it does all the rest of the work. It puts the SK in SicTank mode and has everyone else on chase mode. I just don't know how chase mode on the other characters is ever going to get the Soundproof achievement. I have seen a couple of post where people are getting all three achievements, and I was curious if I was doing something wrong.

look at the instructions again, are you running that LEM?
 
Team: Sk, Brd,shm, mag,mag,mag
Gear: NoS all T3 all max AA.
Gear LS: some T3 some AAs.

First attempt all went fine until the Lich spawned. When his add(s) spawed he was at about 3% hp. My mages stopped to attack and any attempt to either attack the lich or his add caused them to drop immediately the target.
Tried to manually attack on all 3 of my mages without success. Finally the add mawed the group, as the tank stayed focussed on the lich.

As I understood, that after a wipe you can easily continue. Once rebuffed, I came back.
The event was resetted and restarted with blob.

This time, once the spiderqueen spawned, tank thought it was cleverer to focus on shadowmain. So while tank was not to convince to leave shadowmane allone, spiderqueen ate my group.
I dropped the ball.

When farming named-phs my team shows around 3m dps at "DPS Advanced v1.6 dps-meter".
Think that may not be enought for this Quest.

Guess I have to gear up before retry, as it seems, adds should be avoided.

Yes, I have (Mighty) Lua Event Manager 02/11/2024 installed. I then ran /Lua run lem to load the interface. I then and checked the box for Hero's Are Forged on each character. I then started the script on my SK.
 
This took some messing around for bit but ran it tonight with a Sk Cleric Mage Bst Rogue Ranger combo to get them Cracked.
So if your if you have not tried this or struggling, keys to this are right group make up for dps on eggs , and Liich.
Both will be your downfall without dps because of adds (Widows, Mummy
You will need a hotkey to target the eggs.
Also Barbarian Campfire
I just set all my classes to burn always on CWTN and let them go.
Hope this helps someone see that it can be done with this script

Okay figured out my issue with this one the LEM doesn't take into account a Bard running RG mercs so Bard was running to nav point if he got called out then back to tank becuase chase mode was on.
so i went into the LEM and removed the /mqp on and changed it to /rgl chaseoff and /mqp off to /rgl chaseon. I also removed the /twistoff commands because no need to stop bard from twisting while circling.

I also started using /autosize to set everyone to size 10 and don't get stuck on terrain anymore.

Are you letting it get the mission, or are you manually getting the mission?

Coding does what its wrote to do. This GETS the quest and zones everyone in.. if you get the quest, its still gonna try to do what it was wrote to do :(

I ran a early version of it over 100 times between 8 groups, wasnt perfect, but deff did the job.

I've done everything. The thing runs my toons 20 different directions. Keeps trying to run the tank through the webbing causing him to get ported around and then runs him back into the webbing over and over again. I don't know how anyone gets this to work.
