I accidentally maximized CWTN and it covers my screen without anyway to minimize or turn it back to window mode. Is there a way to reset it? Thanks in advance.

Solution
/mqoverlay reload

there are other ways, like grabbing the corner and resizing it / undocking it and all that, but you sound like you're having trouble

so just reset your overlays

sorry it is "reload"

/mqoverlay reload

posting your toon name in that picture says "please dbg, fucking ban me"

grab that, and drag is so it is no longer docked

then grab the bottom left corner and resize

then go in your /mqsettings -> Overlay and click "Require Shift to Dock"

I mark my Macroquest_overlay.ini file as read only, personally. So it will only change if I want it to.

To do this, setup everything the way you want, then go to macroquest_overlay.ini, right click, go to properties, check read only, click apply.

Then you can just reload as necessary if things get out of place.

please don't do this.

it means anything new you run that has a ui won't get saved or moved

this is a piece of advice that might work for someone who knows that it is what they want to do, but will absolutely screw someone up who doesn't know what it is they're doing

I don't want it to be saved when i move it. If i do, i will unlock the file and do the change and then relock it.

You are right about certain people, but those certain people will also be screwed if anything happens. I got into this situation cause of frequent power flickers were causing my screens to "resize" and change and the MQ overlay windows were constantly being moved around places I didn't want them to be. It would write their positions to the .ini file and fuck me over for hours. This is a solution that Hytiek helped me come up with and its been perfect since I did it. The only part I need to remember is that I have to go uncheck read only before I do any changes.

Disclaimer, i guess is, If you can't remember computer things for more than a few minutes/hours at a time, then I do not recommend this course of action
