Which also means the beta should be starting soon and one player has mentioned their guild is doing beta raids on the 14th

I had looked at last years Expansion pre-sale / beta release dates, and it was on Tuesday, Oct 10, 2023. So most likely, but we know there are no guarantees.

Historically new media (music, home videos, games) dropped on Tue, to allow weekly sales numbers to run tue to mon. That started like 60 years ago, and here we are, set to the same schedule. They like to do sales/bonus on weekends is why Thur was semi mentioned, but Tue most likely the day.
