Hello, I set all this up some years back but now I want to return and have some EQ fun again!
So I watched all the videos but one video stands out and I'm stuck and need some help.

The video doesn't show you how to set up DanNet and when I go to the plugin to download it I'm told it comes with veryvillena but yet nowhere can I find how to start the plugin.
Can someone help me figure this out so I can move to the next step of setting this up. or do I have to use the EQBCS still?

Are you on emu? You have to specify /plugin mq2dannet

Yes sir I am getting my feet wet on EQemu server. The command you gave me has loaded the plugin V0.7521

So A few questions if you dont mind.
is there a better way other than alt tabbing and doing /plugin mq2dannet on each window? like a command that loads it on all toons at once?
the second question I have it loaded but when I click come to me it says I have to have eqbcs started. I thought this was a stand-alone that didn't require that.

I think once the plugin is loaded, it's loaded until you unload it. Even if you restart EQ and MQ. Just it's one shot. Not sure about the second question since I play live, never saw that message.

You'd think it would be the same as live servers as its just loading a plugin I don't see how being on a Emu as to live would make a difference with come to me, follow me and mimic me

Yeah this is kind of annoying I have to use basic old commands like /follow and /attack to get them to do anything and half the time /attack wont even work

what am I doing wrong?

It has been my experience that Dannet loads automagically when playing on live. Not sure about the other circumstances.

I assume you are using MQ2GroupInfo. If you hover over the buttons, it should show a tool tip with the command it will use.

You can configure the plugin, including checks for EQBCS and Dannet using the config. Lots of info here
