Hardcore Heritage is back at it with its challenges! It’s time to have some Hardcore fun, are you up for it? Everything began today and ends on July 1, 2025 at 11:00 p.m. PDT.
For anyone new to Hardcore Heritage, popular zones from EverQuest's early days get tuned up for higher-level characters to earn some sweet, sweet loot. Only if you are capable enough to survive until the end!
We have a new city this year, too! City of Mist. The sounds of wailing grow closer, and yet we see little. Does it grow darker, or is the mist just getting thicker? Things brush against us as we cringe away from them, always unseen. Unseen, that is, until they can no longer hold back their desire for blood! Things grow even more dangerous in this ancient place of Iksar power. Bring a bright torch, sharp sword, and most potent magic, and explore the City of Mist for Hardcore Heritage!
Here's the zone schedule for this year.
Phase 1: June 4 to June 17, characters at a suggested level of 80 and up can cross over to the dark side in Blackburrow, Cazic Thule, and characters at a suggested level of 85 and up can take on The Ruins of Old Guk, and the Estate of Unrest. NOTE: Seeds of Destruction must be unlocked to participate.
Phase 2: June 18 to July 1, put on the new, fancy loot and head to Crushbone and Permafrost if you're at a suggested level of 90 and above, and then head over to The Castle of Mistmoore and Nagafen's Lair if you're at a suggested level of 100 and above. NOTE: House of Thule must be unlocked to participate.
We're also turning things up to 11 in raids in those zones again. Engage the more challenging Emperor Crush, Lady Vox, Lord Nagafen, and Trakanon.

Old Sebilis: June 4 to July 1, if you're at a suggested level of 105 and above, Ruins of Sebilis beckons and wants to see if you have what it takes to survive. Once that's done, the denizens of Trakanon will call out and taunt you to bring your best and do your worst! NOTE: Empires of Kunark must be unlocked.
