Has anyone worked out how an troll warrior that is KOS in Halas can complete this quest?

Have not tested this, but if the issue is about the hand-ins in Halas, would dropping a Barbarian campfire in the area help?

As a monk, I used to use FD and sneak. I'd run behind the NPC I wanted to buy from or request a quest/turn-in and FD. You can do this with planar overdose. Wait for the NPC to reset and turn away from you. Your aggro bar will clear when its reset. Or, if you can sneak in behind the mob, then do that. When behind an NPC and using sneak, you will con as indifferent. If the NPC turns to face you, good luck. I'd time it with the class icon on your inventory page, so that right after it does its graphic, you will have 6 seconds before it con's or checks for area aggro.

This is some gourmet shit right here. I never knew that the class icon was a server tick in duration
Apparently my enchanter got drunk one night and did something there and now they are not fond of her. Had to kill one of them when picking up one of the items. But then she just used invis to pick up the rest of items and stood behind the npc and turned the items in. They did not turn on her and attack.
Have you tried or are you just assuming cause it's in Halas that they would attack you? After all Lebounde ab Dolmen wanders around and he is for the Artisan quest and does not attack.
Maybe an illusion would work?

I tried the turn in while invis, standing behind and got attacked. Thinking of dragging an enchanter along to charm and to the turn in.
Well, being an npc merchant, they cannot be charmed...
got it standing behind and invis...go figure. Not sure what happened the first time.

I did this with Dark elves, only issue was the NPC in the building, a nearby npc aggroed and died for its troubles. None of the turnin npcs cared about race/faction. All but the one inide the building are around back of buildings with no other NPCs close by.
