IRL - Found a fellow EQ Gamer

Just a quick wondering. I have been sitting next to people and make an EQ joke or smartass comment ( like ' don't make me send you to bind ) or something else and then they start to laugh or nod like they understood. Has this ever happened? Could be from other games also. I know about every has "Leeroy Jenkins" jumping into the pool or something similar and had people understand.

Was at a conference in Vegas and went out to eat with a vendor. Sat next to one of their employees and started chatting and found out he used to be big into EQ when he was younger.

Also got a reply on twitter one time from Freddie Prince Jr in reference to EverQuest.

I came back to EQ in 16 or so after a 3 yesr break... wife and I both play and she was helping another player with TS, and they got to talking.. come to find out this random players husband, who also played:
same branch of mil
same physical location
same community
same building
same office
oh hey guy who sits across from me, you eq and mq also?

It can be bad. Almost every person I have interacted with who come to find out is EQ associated makes me run fast, away. Real fast.

Never get the hot nerd guys with all the money.
