For Plucked, I do it the same way I completed the Mean Street's Illusions. (I use CWTN plugin for reference.)When going for "Plucked" achievement, found this to be the easiest way.
Fight Capt Kar to 80% and move your team and pets away from him, but not too far. Leave the healer of your team within aggro range, but not close enough to be hit. I used my cleric and set CWTN plugin on manual so he'll heal himself from the directional AEs.
The rest of the team on chase mode following the tank. Run down and kill the 4 archers. They do not hit back, so didn't need the healer with them. Once the 4 are dead, meet back with your healer, and re-engage Capt Kar. I didn't avoid the red aura. Just kept on fighting till he's dead.
There’s another one crafted entwined hammer from cotf, I tried giving 3 pet classes two of them but I still found the proc was not very often, I have an enchanter and I just put byos and mem a stun in place of the second dot and he would cast it frequently enough for me to afk on the final boss for 5 minute come back and the chest is there.Dude! I personally want to thank you for this video guide. I'm dumber than a box of rocks when it comes to these programs and I watched your video like 3 times, farmed the Gnoll Lariat's and put on my bard and just had her attack the whole event with them on, and my crew did it flawlessly. I got 3 achievements (final, delay, speed). I'm pretty happy Sic! Thank you.
I think I won't be able to do the other mission as I have never done a lem and there seems to be too many moving parts, so with this one mission, at least I can get that evolving neck for my guys. Once again thank you and have a wonderful holiday.
.This is how I did it to get all 6 group members the cheese (each one was "first to zone in", one mission at a time). Now I just ignore it.I actually kill the 4 minis and then run the whole crew to the archers, kill them, and then go back to Capt Kar. He doesn't kill Elmara and Agro until you get within range. He just sits there waiting for you to return LOL.
For plucked I just stop at 80, have my brd, rog, ber, and bst go mode 0, have them nav to archers, target and kill them (turn on auto attack), could even make one of the MA for that period
I just switch my tank and cleric to mode 0 during 4th mini, set a dps took to ma/mt while everyone else is still on chase and /nav spawn archer. Rest of the group assists him, then tab back to tank and reset ma/mt, tab off target for a moment so everyone re-assists.Would it be possible to give us CTWN users a /killthis type of command or option to just fight the current target using skills and spells until it dies or the toon is told to stop?
no, there is no need to do that (And won't be something added)Would it be possible to give us CTWN users a /killthis type of command or option to just fight the current target using skills and spells until it dies or the toon is told to stop?
So I just tried this again, have mage manual and set as ma/mt and have nec and shm set as chase while tank and cleric are set on manual and bard is running kissassist. Run mage and friends to archer and attack mage stops attacking and pet stops, try again, same, set mage as tank, same, try vorpal same, tried all of the settings and none of them let the mage attack the archers let alone the nec or shm. I ended up just pausing the ctwn and sending pets and nuking and dotting manually to kill them.I just switch my tank and cleric to mode 0 during 4th mini, set a dps took to ma/mt while everyone else is still on chase and /nav spawn archer. I ran into the same issue because the archers don't populate on xtarget. When the last mini dies, I run all 6 to the archers and begin attacking with the MT/MA and then I have to target and attack them manually with the other 5. All still set on chase and the mage using cwtn/sic plugin does continue to attack when I target and hit attack manually. Rinse/repeat on the other 3 archers. I'm sure there is an easier way but this worked for me.So I just tried this again, have mage manual and set as ma/mt and have nec and shm set as chase while tank and cleric are set on manual and bard is running kissassist. I would love suggestions as to how to do this the right way because obviously I am doing something wrong.
I “think” I run my secondary MA in manual, and turn his attack on, but the others all assist automatically for me.So I just tried this again, have mage manual and set as ma/mt and have nec and shm set as chase while tank and cleric are set on manual and bard is running kissassist. Did this again, and it works fine for me, however I’m using a melee class, not a caster as my ma/mt on the archers. Are you turning auto attack on with your mage?So I just tried this again, have mage manual and set as ma/mt and have nec and shm set as chase while tank and cleric are set on manual and bard is running kissassist. I'm going to throw out a guess that it's because the Hex and Warlord do not show up on xtarget and when the other 2 do, thats where the automation takes you. Maybe try a diff mode than tank for just those 2 (manual) depending on the automation you're using and then change it when they are dead.I am having a rather odd issue in FF. I am not using CWTN (yet) but when I engage the Hex or Warlock, my tank(SK), in "Tank" mode, not pullertank, keeps autonavigating to the other mobs that the NPC's are fighting and engaging. I have to pull the SK back and re-engage the Hex\Warlock. I am using MQ2Melee and have stickbreak set to on in the .ini. I just dont understand why the SK breaks off from my selected target. Any help is most appreciated.
Thanks. I'm using KA Vanilla. Your theory sounds right...and I do not think there is a Manual setting for KA...I ended up just pausing my SK and running the toon myself during this fight. Wonder if its different with CWTN's..I have not had a chance to dig in to them and not sure I want to spend the money if I end up not using. I do not believe KA has a "manual" mode like the cwtn plugins do, but since you already paused it and did it manually, Sic's hotkey will help for these to get the rest of your group attacking (if you are not using it already)Thanks. I do not believe mq2eskay will target these mobs in tank mode either since they are non-agro. I normally only use manula mode on my SK but I'm going to try changinig it to tank mode when I run the mission next and see if it will change targets on me if I manually go after the hex/warlord and I'll let you know. I'm curious myself now and I'm going to bet it does not change targets.
