Their "problems" are alot bigger than they are telling the web cast.
 
they suspended over 900 accounts and that was only a small number of accounts they know about...you do the math...
 
Recent reports seem to indicate they suspended 700 accounts. Which means if their initial estimate of 990 was the number suspended at that time then they have an almost 30% false positive rate.

Also is that 100,000 accounts played regularly (like once a week or more) or how many are languishing accounts that havent been logged into in months or years. I suspect they might also include numbers from SOE Station Pass as well just to boost the number of accounts they claim play EQ (because they could in theory)
 
The number subscribed to EQ is around 50k accounts. Maybe more or less but its in that ballpark. They suspended almost 1k people just using ACTIVE hacks (2% of that number) so that right there shows there math is wrong. Take the number of subs to this site (EQ hacking) 121,557 members and you have a HUGE problem. 20-30% is a VERY kind estimate. Its probably more, and SoE knows it and just doesn't want to admit it to the rest of the playerbase.
