no. RG has no plans on supporting that
Understood, is the reason due to legality, demand, possibility or just not interested? Genuine my curiosity to see if it would ever be a possibility.

I see what happened to THJ so thought maybe you guys found a niche and didn’t want to get into a similar mess with that by stepping in a different area.

MQ/RG is a boxing community for EQ1, not eq2, not landmark, not EQL.

the reality is EQL team just had a huge lawsuit over THJ to the amount of $3m+ dollars and then basically launched THJ 2.0. I dunno about you, but I really don't want to see dbg burn down eq1 or mq/rg for some other game that is going to probably need a scapegoat if it fails - many folks are of the opinion that they used THJ as a scapegoat for some of the failed TLPs (before this current one and the next one later this year. which will probably be successful as well).

DBG hasn't had a lot of communication with "the community" after holly left - but the communication they did have had an emphasis about encouraging folks to leave truebox alone.

Some of the folks that are involved in EQL definitely, factually, objectively "sold out" MQ and the MQ community to make it happen. I'm of the personal opinion that that dick measuring contest isn't worth it.

We just want to play EQ1 the way we want to play it - EQ1, MQ and RG will hopefully still be here despite of the success or failure of EQL.

DBG just gave "us" a non-truebox tlp and have another one later this year. We're gonna leave the truebox other game alone.

cosigned. and in the non-dbg realm we have servers that actively want us there.

As much of a fan of multi-classing as I am, I will never understand the draw people have for these interactive screensaver type of "games". You show up, everything falls down and you're rewarded with meaningless numbers floating around the screen. They are meaningless because you were never under any threat or needed any skill to win. Might as well just play a clicker game, it's the same thing with less moving around. EQ2 was great, then wow released and 3 months later they hit the EZmode button, then EQ2 was awful. EQL is clearly EZmode from day 1. I mean I get it, we all need a mindless thing to do from time to time but no way I'm paying a monthly fee to play one of those. Games like that are freebies you pick up here and there, not this abomination.

This is the one statement that I've heard against EQL that has made me pause. Without knowing details, that part sours me a bit.

The random comments from others in this thread against people enjoying a game that matches their playstyle is a choice I guess but just seems unnecessary. Having said that, I also don't really understand why there have been repetitive requests about bringing further automation to a game that removes all barriers that automation would be helpful to get around.

For me personally (not intended to sell anything to anyone), live wasn't fun without the help of the tools this site's team builds/supports. RG allowed me to play the latest content. Without it, I couldn't. I could have switched to FTP and throw away accounts, but I don't mind paying subscriptions for a game I enjoy and play to experience new things without impacting the gameplay of others.

I still love the original EQ world and game. EQL may long term run out of things to keep my interest but at the moment it fills a void for me that has the right amount of nostalgia.

Unfortunately, absolutely, nobody asking the question is going to read it. Otherwise, they would have caught it the six other times it was asked.
