Started doing EoK progression for this. This is Fanra's guide, which basically links to EQresource http://everquest.fanra.info/wiki/Empires_of_Kunark_progression#Required_for_Kar.27Zok_immunity .

I wanted this thread to give tips on using MQ2 and other things.

Some hot keys that really help here:

/bcg //nav id ${Me.ID}
I call it my "Hither" key, it just commands your group to navigate to the toon you actually control

/nav target
I just /target whatever NPC for the quest or near a location I want to get to and hit that. Then hit my Hither key if I didn't have my whole group afollow my main

/bcga //useitem NAME
There's some steps where you just click an item repeatedly. This will have your whole group doing it at the same time.

/bcg //assist yourMain
There's fancier or better ways to do that, but this works too. Gets your group to all be on the target you want so you can /bcga //say QuestPhrase

/mapfilter ground
This makes all the ground items show on your map. I keep it off because it is a lot of clutter, but on steps where I need to run around and loot ground items.....pretty useful.

A couple tips you might already know;

When you are on a step that requires you to kill a mob to loot quest items, don't loot till you have enough for all of your group to complete that step. Many times, if no one in your group has looted that item yet, the mob will drop 1 for each group member that needs, so you end up getting 6 per kill, just about every kill. Some of the steps, you only get 3-5 max. The less items you need to finish up everyone, the less it drops. Last 1 or two, you can have many kills where it doesn't drop at all. So don't loot till enough of the items drop and you'll spend a lot less time killing for these items.

I have only done Lcea partisan. For Sneaky Sarnark, where you go to the fort by Chardok and have to hail Sarnarks till one of them talks to you "help".....keep hailing repeatedly the same Sarnark, even if it attacks you. Just keep hailing, it will eventually give you the reply to advance that step. You can just mezz one Sarnark and have each of your toons repeatedly hail that same Sarnark till they get the reply to advance the quest.

I have a noob question in regards to EQBC, I box a 6 group over 2 PC's MQ seems to not mind this but would I be able to use MQBC across 2 PC's?
When I use MQ in general, I have to physically click into the dialogue box, is there a way for hotkeys to automatically send the string to the MQ dialogue box, and is that the same as the EQBC one, or different?

I used my enchanter to charm one of the sarnaks and that made it easier and gave me a much longer time to do the hails to finally get him to give me trigger phrases on 3 toons at once.

You can hail the same sarnak over and over to get the updates for that one quest. Just mez it then spam /bcaa

Make a hotkey that repeats this:
Rich (BB code):
/pause 100, /bcga //useitem incomplete

Yes, connect them to the same EQBC server. (So run the server on only 1 PC and have the other connect to that one)

I fucking love you man... I've been looking for a come hither method for a while. I used to use bot.mac and it has this built in. Can't wait to to test this out.

Easyfind change any of this? I love the features of Easyfind but Im wondering if there are any Hotkeys that can be made to make it so all your chars navigate to different zonelines and such?

@ Daryldixonurmouth,

Just go to each zoneline and open up /Nav UI and create a waypoint to that zone for example FM. so if you are in sw you can make a hot key /nav waypoint FM and it will bring you to the FM zoneline, but youll need to create the waypoints.

Haven't really used Easyfind yet. I just knew names of NPC's near where I wanted to navigate to. In Lcea, it's pretty safe since no mobs see invis/agro except spiders and nameds. In Scorched Woods, wouldn't really try it. I just run there manually with map up.

Got as far as doing all the Clawdigger quest line and non-faction task in Scorched Woods. Mostly done factioning over to Centaurs so I can do The Last Grove. This was for 21 accounts. Think if I was just doing a single group, I'd be complete on everything by now easily. The rest of the progression after SW is all group task, which I think will be much simpler to keep track of.

Think I am just going to get a group up to 110 ASAP and then get them progressed completely through for EoTD while working on new AA's if there are any. And some T1 RoS mixed in as well, since the chance for rares will probably be heightened for release.

Also, not really progression for EoTD, but for Hunter progression, if you form a raid with all of your toons, they will all get Hunter update for named kills even toons sitting in your guildhall. Yes, if you have 21 accounts like me, you can have 15 accounts sitting on their ass in the guild hall and just run around with your kill team of 6..(easier to manage, not as conspicuous) and EVERY TOON will get credit for the kill. No need to damage the mob or even be in zone, just be in the raid.
