Request - EQ Social buttons (legit in game macros) - Copy / Paste (1 Viewer)

How difficult would it be to copy a legit in game social macro from Page 2 to page 3? Obviously, I am talking about being lazy and not typing it, but to Ctrl C Ctrl V it to another page (again I wouldn't expect those to be the key combos..)

I've done a lot of searching and did not find anything specific to that.. but the idea of organizing my macro pages better using a tool like that..

just search for your charname in the base everquest folder.

charname_server.ini

in there you should find buttons and stuff

I did try that with the Stein quest.. it didn't work as I expected it to.. so I thought it might be more complicated.. but you are suggesting it should work with the INI file, and there aren't any tricks to it?

Since I have a fresh install, I decided to try a test of doing this exact thing. I created a new Social on Page 3 in the game, camped out, closed the game, then opened my INI file and looked for it.

[Socials]
Page3Button1Name=Assist
Page3Button1Color=13
Page3Button1Line1=/assist

This is how it came up in my file. So, presumably, if you're wanting to literally copy it and put the copy on the other page, you would Copy it and Paste as normal in the INI file, then change the Page # and/or Button # to reflect where you want it to be. Obviously, you would have to change that info for all three lines of the button, but it seems simple enough.
