Oh come on now, it was an unplanned patch. Entitled much?
You should be saying this to DPG after all they are the ones that did the patch that resulted in our programs needing updates.
By using this program to autologin (or otherwise bypassing the patcher), this shouldn't be happening. Now you are losing out on the xp bonus. Blaming others? This is not cool.
The literal moment eq mentioned their unscheduled OPTIONAL patch, I took down VV and put a giant banner that says not to patch EQ.
Using mq, you should ONLY run the EQ launchpad when you have to.
It is a general bad habit to run the launchpad otherwise, for reasons like this.
You patched.
Setup autologin. Stop using the launchpad to launch your toons.
Some folks are of the opinion that the launchpad is one of the vectors for MQ detection. I personally don't run the daybreak launchpad with mq running, ever.
