(Small) Issue: In the Rogue 1.5 Epic Task Outline, there is a spelling issue for Step 14:

The item you get back is Occluded Sun Pendant -- in the Task list there is a somewhat more creative spelling :-)

Not a Deal Breaker, but I guess my inner Software Tester wanted to come out (although it has been years since that was my profession ...)

hey lisie, just found a bug into 2.0 SK (i think you need to make the step 42 after the 50 and if no lhranc ring restart from 38 untill we have ring (but i'm not sure) :D

I looked over these steps to double check the order.

Step 36 checks if we already have the ring, and jumps us to step 51 (the end of that section) if it is present. If not it will search for commander/corporal/private/advisor mobs and kill them and attempt to loot Lhranc's ring from each one (44, 46, 48, 50)

After killing each one it jumps back to step 42. Step 42 checks again if the ring has been obtained, and if so jumps to step 51, if not it returns to 38, and repeats the process.

This is as intended.



Monk just did 1.5 pre quest pretty much flawlessly just had to bail him out a few times in the pit on the first floor of tofs a few times. Any plans for 1.5 and 2.0?

Yes, I've not had the energy the past several weeks to do much work, but I still fully intend to include a path for all classes to reach their 2.0 epics (at a minimum)


Rogue Epic 1.5 -- but probably not isolated to that quest/task

Issue: On a (fairly) clean install of EQ/RedGuides/CWTN ROG plugin, Epic Laziness appears to fail/not perform actions because needed PlugIns are not loaded.

1. Starting up on this install (new laptop - preparing for weekend trip ;-) - 'MQ2AutoSize' was NOT loaded, so I got the following:

Note that when I did enable MQ2AutoSize, I could restart EL and continue as expected.

2. Further in the task, I got the following -- where MQ2Relocate was not loaded:

After I loaded MQ2Relocate, I could successfully use the '/relocate gate' command and continue:

I suspect these issues are not specific to the Rogue Epic, but I have not attempted to run EL on other classes -- although that is on the "stuff-to-do" list.

Thank You for the work you are doing on this -- I have some experience in Software Development, so I know a bit about what it takes...

EL should load any necessary plugins on script startup. Can you verify that this was with the v0.4.8 version?

Can you verify this was occurring on v0.4.8? This should have been fixed in that version, which was uploaded on 08/05.

I've tested on my end and all the plugins seem to be loaded by EL properly.
 
Just bought this today, was super excited, logged in fired it up with my group, told it to travel fast and use invis.... it wil not invis to save my life.... am I missing something here? or run fast for that matter as well

Oh yeah, this was doing the Shaman 1.0

Update : at step 55 it was trying to use invis, said it was pausing for it, just stopped doing anything, and to invis my crew myself and then start it again

I am not in game to check, but I thought there was a choice of invis type under options. Maybe it is trying to do one you don't have.

Thank you, just got home myself, I will login and see where that is, I must have missed the invis item/spell to use option

Logged in and I see that it has options by class, hover shaman does not have an invis option, says bard should be using his invis song but he is not, sk should use cloak of shadows, he is not using that either

Change the logging to verbose (not super-verbose), have it log to file, and try what is not working. Copy from the log file to here (make sure you scrub your toon names). Make sure step, toons, in group or not, automation and such are described in the post. Lisie will get to it when they can. It could be a setting, or a code change that was missed.
 
Hi, Great job so far and I just started a new Shaman and hit the following issue on 1.5. Looks like a slight issue with POSky part. Snapshot of error below.

First off...
This script is frickin awesome, the fact you even got it to do a 3rd of the things it does is beyond me. Well done indeed!!


I am still having the (no invis) issue, every now and then the questee will invis, but only themselves, however it will not have the other toons invis nor will it try to invis them.

I have also noticed, sometimes the helper toons will keep running to the destination even if the questee has paused or stopped the script, often times they run in front of the main toon, quite a bit

**Feature requests**

- Is there a way to make it so you have the choice to handle a toon manually. ex. Cleric doing Quest, but I would like to play the bard or even the sk. Could there be a chance of that being an option as well.
Only asking because some one might want to play a toon, either it be to learn the class (everyone doesn't always know how to handle a specific class), or not just sit and watch the toons run around and fight for hours :) (However that is quite fun LOL)

-Could there be more opetons for travel as far as spells/songs go?
I would like to be able to have a specific travel song, however I only have the one, Selo's Song of Flight would be nice and cover the invis and the speed for thos who might like it.

If anyof this has been covered, spoke of or by design, I do apologize, I must confess, I did not read "All" 29 pages of this forum lol. I did read quite a bit tho

I love the work you have done and works well for most toons so far. Still trying to get Ranger epic working. It is crashing a lot where the others have been pretty clean. I am at the 1.5 and it keeps going back to the beginning when the script crashes. I tried to move it to the spot it last was one but again it crashed. I did the steps for combine for lasso and net and restarted. got to the crashing again. putting on hold until this can be figured out. Probably something minor but Thanks for all your efforts. Is well worth the money for sure.
Note if you select the "jump to step" it crashes immediately.

Can I get more details on the invis issue? What level/classes are you running? Do they have their AAs that handle invis/travel speed? Can you set logging to verbose/super verbose when it is at the steps where it shoiuld be invising and send me a screenshot?

This is not something I will be adding functionality for. If you wish, you can have the toon running the script not set to have your other toon assist, and run them along manually, but that is the best I can offer.

Currently the script only uses AA abilities for travel speed and invis. This may be something i change in the future, but for now it is this way because I do not want to end up with class automation vs epic laziness fighting to modify the spells that are memorized. Just a lot of potential for fuckiness. It may be something I add in the future however.

Does it crash when attempting to jump steps via the outline, or only when you input a # and jump manually?

What number are you inputting?
 
Yes, it crashes if trying to jump to forward steps. When it crashed and I restart, it doesn't keep track of where it is in the steps for me. I have to begin then select the step, even if I click the blocks prior to begin, it doesn't go to that block. I have learned that if i begin, then immediately pause ( or it gates me back to POK), then got the detailed outline and select the step, then plan, It will work that way with latest update. So that helps.
Note: still crashing a lot in the 1.5 epic tasks for ranger. have to pause it a lot or restart it a lot so far. but it is still better than doing it manually. ^)

Do you have advloot set to no loot for that item and space in your bags?

Yes, plenty of bag space and nothing set to no loot.
ofc, this works with auto loot turned on, but like in Gunthak, farming Shivs, my bags filled up within the first few mobs since it looted every weapon drop.

Is this how it's intended to work??
 
Works perfect!!! Only one small hiccup i noticed is when youre farming names for drops it doesnt allow me to filter mobs in the plugins... i dont know maybe im doing something wrong i guess

Your work is awesome Lisie, everyone would love more, but if you don't take care of you, it could not happen anyways. Hope you are getting stronger and wish you the best. Work on this as you can, its incredible as it stands, you're awesome. Wish I had even a tiny bit of your talent.
 
This is a work of art. i Love it. yes there is a little babysitting but 100% worth it. Looking forward to you adding other classes if that's even an option. Thanks for the hard work and hope your health improves.
 
For whenever..just adding it as a issue:
Crashing on Berzerker, this character has not done any 1.0 or anything else of course. Just finished doing 1.5 and 2.0 on 2 other characters (non berzerkers) using LE.

Issue: Arriving in 'The Iceclad Ocean' - parsing of Spawn List crashed EL. (Then, same issue in The Wakening Land - see below)

Checked Track while in Iceclad a few minutes later, and Vas Thorel was up:

Restarted EL, and had this under Full Outline tab:

No Sealed Letter in my inventory, so I did a 'Jump to Step' 22.

Fortunately, EL picked right up and continued.

Then, arriving back to The Wakening Land, the same issue happend:

Since I was already in The Wakening Land', I did a 'Jump to Step' 30 - Move to Lantaric`Dar, and EL continued.

Could it be a possible timing issue -- EL is trying to parse the spawn list before it is fully populated, perhaps?

That said, I did finish the Bard - Pre 1.5, so thank you so much for that!

Now on to the Epic 1.5 so the CWTN Plugin will stop harassing me :-)

this crash should be fixed in the version that was uploaded a few minutes ago

Looked at the code, and saw that this should (hopefully) be a general fix that should benefit all users/classes?

The quests continue: I have a couple of Rogues and this Bard that need their Epic -- if for nothing else, so that the CWTN plugin will stop harassing me when I play them :-)

Hello,

I purchased today and I was just wondering if I might have a bug or something.. I am running the program and it's pausing the nav every 5 seconds, and it's still navigating to a giant herald when I have looted 3 heads. (This is for the 1.5 Pre for Bard). I try to skip the step to go to the giant messenger, but I think it's all the same step. I'm not sure..

Edit: To update, I turned off use travel speed skills - and that stopped the pausing!
 
Toon: lvl 123 (Troll/Big Race) Shaman - CWTN Shaman plugin - Silent Presence invis - Communion of the Cheetah travel
Epic Task: Shaman 1.5

Issue: Looping on Step 9 - Move to Ancient Megalodon

Running EL, the shaman moved successfully to Lake Rathe (Step 6), traveled to Kimm McShanenel (Step 7), and spawned Ancient Megalodon (Step 8).

On Step 9 - Move to Ancient Megalodon, the shaman moved / swam to the shark, but would not recognize that the NPC was close. Below is (part of) my log output:

The Ancient Megalodon was at the same X/Y location as the shaman, but it was far above the Shaman on the Z axis. The script kept looping on Navigating to the spawn / looking for Ancient Megalodon.

I tried a few things - add/remove Lev, pause-move-restart, etc. but without success.

Finally, I paused the EL script, cast a DOT on the shark, and killed it.

When I then restarted EL, it was stuck on Step 9:

I eventually told EL to
--> 'Jump to Step' 11 - Check if we have the items we need: Lustrous Seaweed
and continued from there.

Toon: Level 105 Bard
Task: Bard Epic 1.5

Issue: Formatting Crash ?? when fighting 'dire griffon' -- solo bard with Cleric merc

While fighting the 'dire griffon' in Karanas, the following happend:

Not really sure what is going on -- I was able to manually kill the Plains Dragon that had spawned, and could continue.
