Warrior 1.5 prequest:

Step 18 is set at the wrong location.

You have it farming in the far right room of the upper section. Moved manually to the red circle room and killed.

Is there any class that works right out of the gate? Or is there a lot of manual work?

Most of the implemented class work fairly well out of the box. There is the potential for things to mess up in some places, and require a small minor intervention.

The last few days have a bit of an exception. As I have been cleaning up a lot of the code to be faster, more effecient, more readable.... A few bugs have been implemented. But I do tend to try and resolve most bugs within 24 hours of them being reported.
 
Warrior 1.5:

Step 124: the Lua tried to stack the star rose quartz in the container. Could not combine stacked items and crashed.

Step 147. The location listed in the task window is the correct location for the ground spawn, but that is not where the warrior went to farm it. He stopped back near the Dranik's Scar zoneline - had to manually move him.

These are both likely the same issue. Sometimes the script will fail to continue to a destination if it is interrupted (stopping to invis, stopping to clear xtargets, stopping for speed buff). I will look for a correction to this tomorrow. In the interim, if it does go stupid and run to the wrong location, go into the full outline and click the step again and it should resume heading to where it is supposed to.

Can you confirm this was on the latest version at the time of your posting?

Yes, I believe it was - I downloaded the newest release approximately 3 minutes after I noticed the push. I waited for the next save point but I am 99% sure that was before I noticed the above issue.
 
I just made the leap and wanted to try this thing out...
purchased and DL the file; unpacked to Lua file folder in MQ
typed the start command...got this and then after about 25 seconds the instance for SK shuts down.

Not sure what has happened here but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried installing PackageMan.Lua via the button in the bottom left-hand corner?

I am pretty sure it is supposed to do everything except crash EQ. Have you tried rerunning it after the cmd window installs the packageman directory?
 
Just tried again after computer reboot, and make sure MQ is up to date...and presto...it works.
Obviously something buggered up on my end.

You receive an Occluded Sun Pendant, which identifies as "The proof of loyalty." It raises faction with Miners Guild 628, Deeppockets, Rogues of the White Rose, and Guardians of Shar Vahl.

You say, 'Craft another blade?'

Vorla Diensk says 'We have multiple reasons for wanting to forge a duplicate blade: Firstly, we want to find out what we're up against. Second, it only makes sense to carry comparable weaponry in case you have to tangle with the assassin. Third, it will help us to uncover who was behind the creation of the original.'

I get Lua crash once combine in Everfrost for fractured blade on Pal pre 1.5 epic. Hope this helps

The message he is giving you is from the Rogue 1.0 epic. Are you sure you completed the Pre 1.5 quest, or the 1.0 quest?
 
I'm considering buying, but had a question as I've already partially started multiple character's epic quests but didn't finish. Will this script be able to handle already started epics, or only from scratch? Sorry if this has already been answered, but I did a search and didn't see anything. TY

As long as you know about where you left off you can set the step it should be in in one of the two outline tabs.

The regular Outline tab shows all major steps, and their step#.

The Full Outline tab shows ALL steps and their step number.
 
Rogue 1.5:

First, this has gotten much better. It's very smooth now and is doing everything without intervention.

Second,

Step 78-79: Tundra Kodiaks are not unique spawns. They will respawn as other creatures and eventually the rogue will just be standing in EW with nothing to kill for hours. You have the Lua running to kill these specific mobs, but on 4 of the 5 rogue epics I have run through with this Lua, I ended up with no tundra kodiaks up sitting in Western Wastes. Also, I usually end up getting 5-7 more High quality Cougar skins just from cougars aggroing. It might be more succinct to drop steps 59-62 and get that done at the same time.

The following works for a location 1600 range with 200 on zhigh/zlow to farm the kodiak pelts and cougar skins in what usually takes about 45 minutes.

Just wanted to let everyone know that this will not be updated for the next ~7 days. All of my accounts were hit in the susban wave. If you have any issues please continue to post them and I will look into things as soon as I am able to do so once more.
 
Ahh i aint stressing. I do cheaty things, i got hit with some 7 day vacations. Honestly, it is going to be a nice break from coding on EL for a week =D

Hello and thank you for the help. I used epic laziness to complete the 1.5 pre. I confirmed it is completed by selecting the pre 1.5 again, and It said complete. I think it has moved on past that part. Rogue is out killing for material for the TS part of the epic. on or close to steps 80-90. I will let you know soon I hope :) Thanks again for the Lua and your help.
 
I'm doing the Beastlord Epic 1.5 pre version epiclaziness 2024-5-09 1:05:04. I'm stuck looping at step 35. I zoned into The Gray and my character stopped with the following message.

Check that your nav files are updated with the proper meshes?
 
I will need to take a look at what is happening here. It will be a day or two until I have a BST high enough to take a look at it.
