If you have an automated way I can just donate via paypal monthly please let me know. I tend to forget and would prefer an automated payment method.

I pay for RG with Redcents and paypal monthly. Not sure if the redcents help but I know the paypal will :) Thanks everyone!

Well, that would be truly awesome, I never done it myself, but I know it can be done because there are 2 people that have added me for a automated monthly contribution, so I know there is a setting for it on paypal.
Somehow they managed to set it up by just using [email protected] as the address.
Check your paypal payment settings.

But Brian, if you manage to set it up, still come here and just post a "I donated as well" or just a smileyface, cause it's how I know who to pm on patchdays for the "special pm's I send out".

I don't get enough donations to warrant spending tons of time on a paypal ipn handler or I would just automate everything heh... for now its manual labor.

You can create a donation button by going to Profile > Selling Preferences > Create New Button
There is supposed to be a button for recurring donations or some such.

I've been digging in my interface and can't find anything..


Or if anyone else can point me how to automate the payment?

Actually and this is too funny, my button in my signature already takes you to a page where you can check a "Make This Recurring (Monthly)" checkbox

so uhm, just click my button in my signature below.

Cool idea/system.... but still they take 5% whereas paypal takes 0% if gifted.
I will go look and see how to make it monthly, I had it setup at one point to do monthly gifting but it broke, the first time i did it, it never actually worked.
