So, my 17 year old son is gamer ( imagine that ), he didn't ask for much. He asked for a mirror for his truck and a gaming mouse ( 100$ plus ). So I go them both plus other stuff. Wife is really cool about everything, but giving us both #%$# about such an expensive mouse haha. We both looked at her and were like 'DUH' you have to have them to help you win. She doesn't care, but just doesn't get it.

My wife got me a UPS (mine recently died) and a KVM switch... Hopefully it has edid emulation. I still have a $20 Microsoft mouse I bought around 2001, and have never looked back. The scroll wheel button doesn't work any more... Sometimes it scrolls on its own, but it has a button on the left and right side that I can't live without now.

That gaming mouse is an investment with future returns! My youngest son bought me a gaming chair for Xmas. He knows the value of having nicer things if you're a gamer.
