I use loyalty for anchors. If you have them, if not then yea thru marketplace. But you still need a plot, house or custom guild to place them.
I save all my DB points until a sale and then get Hero's forge feature (not the actual ornaments) cause I never got over paper dolls and like to dress my characters up (that aged me right there huh) and if all my guys have that already then I get key rings slots, housing stuff. Now and then the draw of the LON cards gets to me and I will get a couple of those but wind up just selling the items in the baz.
Usually they have something special they put in during sales so that is another reason I wait for those.

You can only see/buy it when silver/wood/not-gold - it allows memorizing and using rank 2 spells when f2p
Unlock the key rings and slots. TS potion is nice for leveling
As Sic commented - this is available for accounts that are at Silver or F2P status, and not so for Gold.
i.e. the option to buy isn't present for Gold [ paid or krono ] subbed accounts but is for those that have lapsed.
The other piece is that this is for the character that applies it, not for the account as a whole.

There is the twist with the idea of members discounts.
When DBG run their events that offer a marketplace discount, that is often for active subscription accounts only.
- Active subscription accounts can't buy this item.
- Those who can buy this item, don't get the marketplace discount.
Maybe no so important here in the RedGuides community, but there are also mercenary slots.
The ability to have more than one merc available to call on, without having to disband and go hire a new one, from a single slot.
( other bundle sizes available, that give more merc slots for a bit lesser DB coins. 3 for 2500, 5 for 4000 vs the 1 for 1000 above)

You would only see slots if your account already has the depot like this:
But if your account does not have the depot then all you see is the option to buy the depot like this:
I have the depot unlocked but I can’t find the extra slots anywhere in the store, it’s weird
Did you use the search bar in the marketplace window and search for "depot"?
Can you screen shot it? This has to have a reason lol
Or hey, you are not maxed slots (5,000) are you?
I’m definitely not maxed lol I’ll search up depot and see if I get any results, I only searched tradeskill yesterday so maybe that’s why I didn’t see anything
