It has its own logic. The only thing that changes is what spell is memorized. The plugins are still doing their work in the way they are programmed. When we load up a custom spell set how is the priority of said spells set? For example if I load up 3 nukes, will it prioritize top to bottom or does it have its own logic?
All included in the test buildDAMN IT @Sic and @ChatWithThisName now i got to send you at least 20 bucks to check this out
No it does not. There will be zero additions to the class plugins for emu builds until macroquest works on emu.does this work for the emu servers or is it planned to be implemented ?

well the plugin will still only use stuff the plugin says it uses - like emphatically stated in the video.dang, this would be perfect for Lazarus with Rubrae buffs :/ Ah well, I can wait![]()
no, not at this time. as mentioned in the overview, unless the plugin says that it uses a particular spell, it isn't going to use it > :p <I want my shaman to cast annul magic on any mobs that have buffs on them. Is there a way for MQ2Shaman to do this?
yesHi Sic,
Watched the video and I just want to make sure I understand things correctly. For background, when I first read the different threads for the various plugins, it sounded that if you use(d) BYOS you would have to manually cast the various spells. Now, after watching this video, it sounds that if you use BYOS custom, you can set your own spell gem line-up and, if the plugin "knows" those spells, the plugin will use the "custom" spell set. Did I get that right? If so, that is a huge feature across all the plugins. It is like, " hey bud here is a default set but if you want to tinker go ahead as long as we know those spells."
Be well. Happy gaming.
please watch the vid/guide in the origin of this post. byos can be "saved" with using the slash command (like other option settings) but the actual spellset for byos custom needs to be issued to use that spell set you currently are usingIs there a command toggle or a setting to maintain BYOSCustom on/off? Mine defaults to off every time I log off/on. Would like it to stay "checked".
no, this is incorrect. byoscustom has to be set each time.Using the checkboxes are a temporary change. Using the commands to change them will change the .ini file
Type /clr byoscustom on
That should check the box and keep it checked for you. You can also make hotkeys for this stuff, to toggle on/off/etc for multiple things. That's about all I remember from the cwtn plugins. I had a raid hotkey to mem my raid spell set and toggle stuff off, and a group hotkey to toggle stuff back on, etc.
docs.macroquest.org
/timed 100 /shm byoscustom set
/enc byos custom clear - I then do /enc byos custom and it says I do not have a custom set. So far so good, but then I turn on byos /enc byos on and I replace Mesmeric Stare with Addle on gem 4. I then do /enc byos custom set and the plugin turns on byos custom, removes addle and puts mesmeric stare back. As you can see in the screenshot, I have addle saved to gem 4, but Mesmeric Stare is memmed there. Hopefully I didn't misunderstand something in the video
Happy New Yearplease post cwtn stuff in the cwtn section.Hunting for a /command for toggling byos custom. Use many diff classes, and I've got the /rng byos on - works great.
But I want to toggle custom with a /command and stick in the activation hotkeys as it doesn't stay turned on between loads it seems. Iirc the videos this is by design and not a flaw.
Just doing it with a /command solves all my woes - does it exist? I can't figure it out or find it.
/shm byos custom set/shm byos custom clear/cwtna byos custom setor whateverMissed this video entirely in my exploration. All the answers I need be there.yeah dude, absolutely gotchu - "custom set"
in the Sticky in the cwtn section (please always start there)
there is a > Custom BYOS Stuff <
View attachment 76308
in that it shows example commands (for shm)
/shm byos custom set
/shm byos custom clear
so when you log in - assuming your spell loadout are what you want, you'd just
/cwtna byos custom setor whatever
