I jsut recently picked up an used computer the specs are
win 10
Intel Core i5-3570k cpu @ 3.40GHz 3.39GHz
8 gig Ram
250 gig ssd drive


my question is how many instances u think this could run at a time

No more than a group I'd guess with that RAM. Put another 8 GB stick or two in it! I haven't had less than 20 GB RAM for almost 10 years in fact.

follow post number 18, you can run quite a bit on 8 gigs of ram if you do.. but if you dont you will barely be able to run 1 full group depending on what you got running in the background/process stuff

I run a 9 box on 8gb all the time, 6 in group and 3 out (pullertank,healer,mez)

well sounds like i got a good deal since bought it all for $50

50 bucks would be a decent deal for any individual of those parts, so yeah. As mentioned above, you can run EQ on less RAM, but whatever tweaks you do, you'll still like 12-16 GB RAM more in the end.

I am the #18 and I STILL get those numbers!
