evianwater submitted a new resource:

Complete Heal Chain - CH Rotation for multiple clerics with commands

Very simple and effective CH rotation macro that I developed to allow a few friends to group up clerics across different computers and run them together without worry.

How to use:
1. Open the macro and edit the following lines (easier if you preset it). Both lines are at the top of the macro (line 37 and line 40)

/declare Cleric_List string outer ClericName1 ClericName2 ClericName3 ClericName4
- Add the names of the clerics you want to have in the chain separated by a space.
- Example...

I'm excited to try this macro out!

One question I have is... if a cleric in the chain is casting a spell in between CH's, is there a way to have that spell interrupted and prioritize the casting of CH instead? Is some script like that even plausible?

I am sure I could make this work. I'll look into it.

Added this in with version 3.3 release today.

Not able to test atm as I am traveling, but was just wondering if you can change, I think its, Line 278 and 280 from .../casting "Complete Heal"... to .../useitem "Donal's Chestplate of Mourning"... and have things still work?

Long cast time and long reuse time makes the item not useful for a CH chain.

I have 10 clerics in my raid team… so yes it’s useful. Even with 6 in a rot I could a 5 second delay for continuous heals which would be just fine for the content I’m doing atm.

You could in theory, but you’d have to adjust the timers to account for the casting time and everything. Would take more then just 1-2 line changes

thanks will give it a test when I get back home in a few weeks. I can also see if being useful for other clickers if they have not been nerfed also, things like the enchanter rune robe, the vel aoe healing legs, and prob a bunch more.

Aye, I got pulled for a job out of country for a bit as well and haven’t had any time to mess with things. I had migrated most of the code over to Lua so it could run concurrently with KA or other macros but didn’t get a chance to finish it before I left.

Hopefully I’ll have time to mess with stuff again here soon

It was working for me but tried it again today and I get the "Could not cast(spell not ready)" spam as well now. Anyone figure this out?

I figured it out. that message is the very last else if. So I tried to get the other ifs to activate. The out of range would work and tell me out of range. After all that, I figured out mq2cast was not loaded. Once loading it and restarting macro, it works like a charm now.

Glad I stumbled across this macro, once I get it working it looks to be exactly what I need.

My issue is I found that I was only able to trigger macro to start via a tell.

Also after I send my first cleric the trigger he will cast but then use /rsay to tell Cleric2 to cast and Cleric2 will not respond unless it is a tell.

What modifications would I need to do to make this work using /rsay?

I did not change it from RS and it works perfectly every time. It should work from Raid say. I start it by saying the phrase in raid and I have a hotkey to make other changes as necessary and has worked flawlessly, since I discovered the mq2cast wasn't loaded.

I am trying to use this on emu and am having the same problem. The clerics seem to not listen to /rs. Did you ever figure this out?
