About a week ago I was running Lua script hafmission with CWTN plugins. Things seemed buggy and I had been logged in for awhile so I tried closing everything out and refreshing injections, then tried to log completely out and back in when that didn't work. I haven't been able to log in with MQ2 running since. MQ2, plugins, Lua, and macros are all updated as of a few minutes ago. I tried a bunch of stuff that I'll list below but I've now confirmed that I can log in as long as MQ2 isn't running, I can't log in if MQ2 is running even if I try to log in directly from the launcher.
To clarify: I can log in from the launcher 100% of the time if MQ2 isn't running and 0% of the time if MQ2 is running. I have 100% success turning the problem on by launching MQ2 and turning the problem off by exiting MQ2. If MQ2 is running windows are launched for each character (whether I launch 1 or a multiple character profile) but they all freeze at black screens or the EULA. The RedGuides launcher can be active, just not MQ2.
Any thoughts on what might be broken? Is there a way to do a clean MQ2 install?
I know now that it is specific to MQ2 (even when I'm trying to log in directly through the launcher) but before I confirmed that I updated my graphics drivers, DirectX, C++. Toggled Windowsmode settings in eqclient. Uninstalled, deleted remaining files, and reinstalled EQ. Verified that EQgame and Launcher are both marked as safe for both private and public networks in Windows Defender (no other firewall or AV running).
