Question - Buy items more than 100 at a time?

When I buy from vendors and bazaar traders, I can shift-click to buy 100 at a time. Kind of a pain when I want a lot of something. But sometimes on my trader, I notice that someone bought a stack of 1000 all at once. How can I do this?

you can target the item in the vnedor window and /buyitem 1000

click on the item in the vendor's window and type /buyitem 1000

or any other quantity up to stacksize.
